  This is the fourth time we have travelled with BottleStops. Jerome is superb. Does great planning for his tours, ensures he adds insights before and during the tour, and wholly listens to what his clients want in creating the experience. Highly recommend!

  Our private wine tour in the Rheingau with Jérôme of Bottlestops was one of the highlights of our trip to Germany. From the very beginning, he was professional, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful in helping curate a custom itinerary around some of our dream wineries to visit. Thanks to Jérôme, we enjoyed unforgettable visits to Eva Fricke, Künstler, Georg Breuer, and a surprise stop at Freiherr zu Knyphausen. The entire day felt completely personalized to our interests and pace, and visiting these incredible wineries with Jérôme made for such a memorable experience. We also had a fun and delicious lunch stop in Eltville, which was such a charming way to experience another beautiful Rheingau town during the day. What I also loved was the pre-trip planning with him over WhatsApp. It was clear he genuinely cared about creating the best possible experience for us, not just running a standard tour. Throughout the day, he shared fascinating history and insight about the Rheingau while also being warm, engaging, and on top of it, wonderful company. His van was immaculate and comfortable, and every detail felt seamless. We enjoyed our time with him so much that we hired him again the following day for transportation to Bernkastel-Kues. We would highly recommend Jérôme and Bottlestops to anyone looking for a truly curated wine experience in Germany — whether private or group tours. Exceptional service, incredible wineries, and unforgettable memories. Next time we return to Germany, we are absolutely booking with Bottlestops again, and I’m recommending him to everyone I know visiting the area. He is the absolute best!!

  The wine tour with Jerome Hainz was a real highlight – you could immediately feel his deep knowledge and passion for the subject. With a lot of enthusiasm, he led us to attractive destinations and contacts at the wineries in the Rheinhessen region. The tastings were excellently selected and of high quality, each sample was clearly explained. Lunch in a quaint inn was also an experience, as regional cuisine came on the table that we otherwise could not have tested. In bright weather we enjoyed not only the wines, but also the magnificent scenery. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

  My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of spending two days on a private wine tour with Jérôme Hainz from BottleStops, and we truly could not have asked for a better guide. From start to finish, Jérôme was outstanding. He arranged fantastic winery visits and clearly has strong connections with some of the best wineries in the region, which made the experience feel very special and personal. What really set Jérôme apart was his incredible local knowledge. His understanding of the wines, the food, the geography, and the history of the area added so much depth to every stop along the way. Each visit felt thoughtfully curated, and he shared insights that made the entire experience richer and more memorable. Beyond that, Jérôme is simply wonderful to spend time with—friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. His enthusiasm for the region and its wines is infectious.   Amazing Wine Tour, I would recommend for anyone! Every location we went to was excellent and the lunch was also amazing. It was a great day! We were also travelling that day and our luggage was able to be accommodated with ease!
