Ol Pejeta is home to three of the world’s last remaining three northern white rhinos, and a sanctuary for 105 critically endangered black rhinos. The Conservancy employ highly trained rhino protection squads, partner with international veterinary experts and ensure data is gathered regularly on each individual animal. on top of that you will be visiting a blind rhino called Baraka and also Kenya’s only remaining chimpanzee in the chimpanzee enclosure.

Depart Nairobi at 5am and drive for 2.5 hours to arrive Nanyuki town at 8am. Here you will have a stop over at the equator crossing where you will be able to take a photo. Then proceed for another 15 minutes to the gate. Start of first game drive that will last 2 hours where you will see the chimpanzee and more wild animals on the northern side of the vast conservancy. Arrive at Serena sweet waters lodge by 12 pm. Here you will have a look at the animals coming to the watering hole in front of the lodge to drink water while you enjoy taking photos of the resident monkeys at the lodge. Enjoy lunch and start the afternoon game drive at 2 pm. Then drive to the eastern side of the park where you will be able to visit a blind rhino called Baraka and also see the three Northern white rhinos freely roaming in their vast enclosure. End of the game drive at 4pm. Start to drive back to Nairobi to arrive around 7pm where you will be dropped off at your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD.

A very full day of driving, but worth it for the rhinos and elephants!

5.00A very very long day tour from Nairobi for those short on time, but definitely worth it for the wildlife viewing. I'm an equator nerd and reallt enjoyed the stops at the equator signs in Nanyuki and also in Ol Pejeta itself. Rhinos are the main draw here, and I saw a lot of them. Also a surprisingly high number of elephants. I did tours of Ol Pejeta and Amboseli National Park in the same week, and I have to say that Ol Pejeta actually had far better wildlife encounters. Bonus that it also seemed a lot less touristed than Amboseli, so the wildlife encounters seemed much more intimate. James is a fantastic and knowledgeable driver. Would definitely recommend!

5.00We had a day tour game drive with excellent game spotting adventure and the tour guide was fun and social. During the game drive we spotted some wild animals, chimpanzees, hippopotamus and the black rhino named Baraka. The game drive was successful and thanks to the guide.
Long, but perfect day with Samuel

5.00The day ended up better than we could have ever expected. We got to the park around 10 and drove around looking for animals until our 11am appointment with the two last remaining white rhinos. But before that could happen, Samuel learned about a lion sighting on the other side of the park. We took off and picked up a ranger and spent an hour going through the bush in hunt of lions... And we found 3 large males Samuel rescheduled our rhino appointment and we spent time on the side of the park where we spotted the lions. This was less visited and was loaded with animals. We saw tons of zebras, elephants, and giraffes. We also saw a baby zebra, elephant, and rhino. Additionally we saw hyenas, lots of antelope, wildebeasts, and buffalo. Samuel was great at finding the animals, and he let us spend as much time we wanted at each sighting. I 100% recommend Perfect Safaris and Samuel.

5.00Perfect Safaris Africa lives by its name! Our experience was wonderful especially due to the leadership and professionalism by our guide Kevin! He is very knowledgeable about everything related to wildlife and the richness of Kenyan culture. He knows the best photo ops, the best places to stop for snacks, and he has gained the trust of the Ol Pejeta rangers for them to guide you even more. Visiting Ol Pejeta and visiting Najin and Fatu, the last two Northern white rhinos was exceptional. If you make it all the way to Kenya, without a doubt, make it all the way to Ol Pejeta. Visit them, touch their horns, and recommit yourself to doing all you can to protect wildlife and nature. It's a long day (leaving at 5am and arriving about 8pm) but totally worth it! If you have the time, stay overnight at a hotel.

5.00This was one of the most amazing adventures of my life. Kevin was the best guide, he was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and it was like another friend joined us on our trip to show us around. We were able to see four of the big five in one day. All living happily in a conservatory safe from being hunted by man and being well cared in nature. That meant a lot to us. I can't rate this high enough. I would recommend you try going if you can.

5.00We gad a great day with Frederik. Right on time and very efficient. A good driver that did his best to show us everything there is to see. Be aware that with this tour you only see the 2 northern white rhinos from behind a fence and cannot get close.

5.00Danson was a great driver and had a lot of knowledge about the animals. He even had a bird book for me to see the descriptions of all the birds we saw. The conservatory was well maintained and everyone there was polite.

5.00What an incredible experience, worth every penny/shilling. Our guide George picked us up promptly and drove us north several hours to Ol Pejeta. He offered to stop at the equator point where a local guide could show us around (we declined) - and he stopped along the road to buy us several bunches of local fruit we told him we liked, to enjoy with our breakfast. Over the course of the 4-5 hours George drove us through the game park, we saw just about every single species in the park (elephant and giraffe *incredibly up close and personal*, black and white northern rhino, buffalo, zebra, warthog, antelope, gazelle, and many birds) and the chimpanzees at the rescue center. The only animal we missed were the lions, who were deep in the forest avoiding the midday heat. George’s instinct for where to seek animals in the park (and frequent check-ins with other guide friends also working in the park) meant we felt like we were constantly spotting new creatures. Incredible. He stopped for photos whenever, and no matter how often, a request was made, and would often pivot the vehicle for us to get the best views. Lunch at Sweetwater was delicious with an excellent serving staff. We cannot say enough good things about our tour with George today - and recommend you ask for him when booking!

5.00My mom and I had a great tour with Danson to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. We went as a day trip from Nairobi so it was a long day but definitely worth it. In addition to visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Baraka the black rhino, and Fatu and Najin (the last two Northern white rhinos on earth), we saw plenty of animals driving through the conservancy. I highly recommend this tour. Our guide Danson was great - very thoughtful, friendly, and knowledgeable!
