  Great experience -- size of group was manageable. Guides were so knowledgeable about weather/viewing conditions to give us the most breathtaking views! We got an full view of Denali!!!

  We joined the middle of June for a Jeep excursion at Denali. It is a 100 mile round trip. I had thought it was IN Denali NP, so it would have been more immersive. As it was, it was down a paved and then rock road. We got one picturesque pic of us at a lake and one pic of MT McKinley. All in all, it was underwhelming. The jeeps were very nice and the young ladies leading the tour were very nice. I would pick a different excursion if I was to come back.

  I was very disappointed in this tour. Their description mentioned animals, glaciers and scenic views. I was excited to go but our trip consisted of 4 hours in a jeep , 2 hrs one way then turn around and take the exact same route back. We stopped 3 times. The first stop was at a lake and someone was set up for camping and we completely invaded their space, second stop was a mountain that we asked her to stop at but she let us pull over past the photos op and the third stop was a scenic overlook which was fine. Guides were fine but the trip fell short of the description.

  Fantastic tour - absolutely loved how we had our own jeep and were in a convoy with others instead of being combined with other families or people we didn’t know. The CB was a great way for our guides to communicate with us. The stories and education were so fun and interesting. Dan and Red were our guides and made a great, fun team. The views were 10/10 some of the best we saw on our entire Alaska trip.

  Excellent experience with Dan and Danielle. We learned a lot about Denali, we had a few exciting animal sightings and we enjoyed our experience. Well done!

  If you are wanting to get off the beaten path and see some really great true Alaskan sights, grab your binoculars and camera and book this tour! We had an incredible experience thanks to our two incredibly fun, lively, professional and super knowledgeable guides (Paige and Emma). Their expertise and overall love of the land and animals pours out of them and you can't help but get immersed into the same on this excursion. The landscape on the Denali Highway from a jeep up close is breathtaking over and over. We were able to see several Moose up close and farther out from several awe inspiring overlooks. We also saw Bald Eagles, a porcupine and the grand jewel herself, Denali all the way to the top (20,310 feet) thanks the incredible clear weather and our guides instructions. What a blessing to spend time with Paige and Emma in this environment, they are incredible. We'll be back!

  I would not recommend this tour. We had entirely too many jeeps in our caravan (at least 14) so those of us in the middle or back of the caravan couldn't see the wildlife that was seen at the front. By the time we got to the location where the wildlife was seen it was gone. Also, the dust thrown up by the tires was ridiculous, although I realize the tour operators can't control this, it is definitely something to keep in mind should you decide to book this tour. We drove for 4 hours with only 4 stops, two of which were really close together. Would have liked to stop a little more often. One other thing, because the caravan was so long, it got spread out enough to cause the radio to breakup when the tour guides were speaking.

• Denali highway jeep excursion

  We were able to drive the most colorful jerps on a beautiful, scenic drive on Denali Highway. Bonus was seeing a moose, porcupines, and an eagle. The scenery is breathtaking . Dan and his crew were knowledgeable, kept everyone safe. It was a very enjoyable evening drive

  It was not what we expected, and overall not bad, but disappointing. The tour guides were two very knowledgeable young women, and we went a good distance. However, we were disappointed that we did not get to go off road and stayed in a caravan not stopping at many beautiful places for pictures. We were very spread out in the line so wildlife was not too visible because by the time we figured out where they were talking about and then got there the wildlife was long gone. We would not choose this again, but people who wanted a simpler line lead experience would enjoy it and the scenery.
