Please bring a valid passport of every participant, including infants(0-3). If you do not have your passport with 6 months or longer validity, you cannot join this tour.
Infants(0-3) should be counted as 1 person for the tour.
The exact drop-off time and location can be changed depending on the traffic situation.
If you have heart disease/leg/back/respiratory problems, you cannot enter the 3rd tunnel. It needs an intermediate level of hiking.
Monorail is NOT available.
This tour can be canceled because of weather or political situation. In this case, your tour will be rescheduled or be fully refunded.
The type of vehicle can be changed depending on the number of participants.
If the 3rd Tunnel is unavailable, it can be changed to another destination.
Every Monday, we will visit the 2nd tunnel, Peace Observatory, and suspension bridge.
Every Tue-Sun, we will visit the 3rd tunnel, Dora Observatory, Unification Village with gondola or suspension bridge options depending on what you select.
The itinerary of this tour excludes the transportation time between destinations.
Pets cannot be accommodated.
The tour is operated in rainy or snowy or windy weather.
Cancellation and refunds are not available within 24 hours of departure time for the following reasons: sudden illness, flight delay, weather changes such as rain, snow, or wind, personal reasons, incorrect booking, or other cases where there are no issues with the tour operation.
If you have any leg or heart problem, you may not go down to the 3rd tunnel. It is the same level of 30 mins hiking.

DMZ
DMZ is demilitarized zone and a buffer zone between North Korea and South Korea. The lines reach 248 km in length from Jeongdong-ri, Paju-si to Myeongho-ri, Goseong-gun. At the present time, an area within 2 km in both the north and south side is designated as the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Excluding the DMZ, the overall area is considered to be the most heavily militarized region in the world.
The Third Tunnel
The 3rd Tunnel was discovered by South Korea in 1978. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour. The scale is similar to the 2nd Tunnel, but it was thought to be more threatening as an invasion tool than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels. Located only 4km away from Imjingak toward the southwest and 3.5km from the Tongilchon area, it is accessible by car in approximately 45 min from Seoul.

5.00All day tour (6:35am PU to 4:30pm drop-off). Wear comfortable shoes as there will be lots of walking and some hiking as well. You’ll be taken to the DMZ and walking/hiking into tunnel 2 or 3. Lunch may or may not be included, depending of your particular package. If not included, you can pay for it at the restaurant. Then you will hike Mt Gamaksan to the red suspension bridge.

3.00Very basic tourist trap trip. Early morning, 2 + hour bus tour (with very nice guide) to a tunnel (no photos no photos) then to an observation museum to look over at North Korea. Booked solid so I guess they don’t have to do anything different. Lunch (extra cost) was overpriced and not particularly good. If you must go and look at North Korea, knock yourself out but very basic. 3 stars because the guide was nice.

5.00If you want to see the DMZ, this is the way to do it. Out guide, Ki, was super friendly and knowledgeable about the Korean conflict from a cultural side, giving us the insider insight that we wouldn’t be able to find online. Highly recommend

5.00We had our tour on a Monday with Ki, and it was an amazing tour. We went to the Gamaksan Mt. suspension bridge, the 2nd tunnel, the Cheorwon Peace Observatory and a local lunch. The tour was very good, and Ki was an amazing guide. Ki was very informative, providing us with history, facts, the background, and stories of each site, with some useful tips before each visit. I would highly recommend this tour.
