Rising from its own ruin, the Marienburg Fortress rises imposingly at Feldioara, on the banks of the Olt, only 20 km from Brașov, on the road to Sighișoara. Its restoration, carried out in 2013-2017, saved the remains of the walls that had survived the last hundred years of abandonment and restored its appearance in the seventeenth century.
The strategic position, with visibility over a large area, and the natural advantages have made this place attractive in prehistory. During the archeological researches, the plateau on which the fortress rises revealed vestiges of habitation from the earliest times - Neolithic, Bronze Age, Dacian and Roman period, but especially the Middle Ages.

Peasant Fortified Church at Prejmer
The complex of the fortified church in Prejmer is undoubtedly an undeniable testimony of the tradition of the Transylvanian Saxons, who have left us a true heritage full of monuments that sometimes we do not appreciate properly. The fortress of Prejmer was started by the Teutonic knights, somewhere around the year 1218, and then to be built in the style of the early Gothic, introduced in Transylvania by Cistercian monks. With the Turkish invasion of the fifteenth century, the systematic fortification of the place is begun, which can boast of an absolutely remarkable resistance, which did not allow even an Ottoman conquest.

Bran Castle is a slender stronghold with tile roofs erected in the 14th century, located not far from the city of Brasov in Romania. It commands the green hills on the edge of the Little Carpathians, a subrange of the great chain arcing across Romania.

5.00A private tour with Cătălin He picked us up on time and we where whiked off on a fun adventure . Cătălin allowed us to set the pace and taught us the history of each site Castle Bran ( Draculas Castle) was the highlight Drivers in Romania our a different breed lol and very aggressive . Cătălin however was a cool calm safe driver and we felt very relaxed A great trip , thanks to Cătălin
