5.00The team at Moana Scooters Turtle Tour were enthusiastic, positive, friendly and fun. I liked that our tour group was small- 4 of us and we had 1 guide and 1 safety person. I am not a confident snorkeller and they were patient and made me feel very safe. We saw about 10 turtles which was magical! The guide had an underwater Go-Pro type camera and took heaps of photos of us with the turtles. We also saw beautiful coral, star fish, beautiful tropical fish and a large group of spotted eagle rays. The water was very clear, so we could see long distances. This tour was the highlight of our visit to Rarotonga!

5.00We loved this experience and appreciated the care of the people who work for Moana Sea Scooters. We expected to be part of a larger group but our group of 4 had a guide and a lifeguard support person to ourselves. There are a large amount of people swimming in the Araroa passage, as other companies operate in the same passage. However, the area is well managed and we never felt rushed or like we were being squeezed in between other people to see the turtles. Our guide, Mason, got some amazing footage of the eagle rays. We could only see the outline of them, but he dived down so deep we lost sight of him! All to capture the beauty of these graceful creatures. We wish we had the skill and experience to get up close to the rays, like he did. There were a lot more turtles than we expected to see, and they are so chilled out! We have swum with turtles before, but these ones were definitely the most relaxed we snorkelled over. Our life guard, Vee, made the experience memorable for me. She shared her knowledge of the turtles and was the friendliest, most beautiful personality. She was genuinely interested in making sure all customers felt safe and got the most out of the experience. I highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to snorkel with the turtles.

5.00This tour was one of the best we have ever done. The staff were so helpful, they kept a close eye one us for the whole tour. Swimming up close to the turtles was an experience not to forget. The coral reefs were amazing to see, with beautiful tropical fish along with the turtles. Well done to this company, well worth the money. We would highly recommend.

5.00Clear waters, super fun and light scooters (couldn't have done it without them), lots of turtle sightings and colourful fishies. Very well priced for the experience. One comment from our group of four was they need 'merch', she would have been all over the merch table afterwards. Am a confident swimmer but newbie to snorkelling, really appreciated the 'safety guy', cause the current at times was strong, and the surface was choppy. There were lots of people out in lots of small groups, but it didn't really affect the experience under water. Pop down the road to Wigmores for a well deserved scoop icecream after!

5.00Highly recommended - professional and friendly crew who made you feel safe the whole time. The current was strong on our day and all of our group agreed having the sea scooter made the trip a lot more comfortable. The turtles were super chill, bobbing up here and there, and largely just ignoring the people around them!

5.00Amazing experience! The snorkel is very easy to use, even against the current, and the turtles didn’t seem bothered. We saw many rays, turtles, fish, and coral. No stress throughout - greeted with a smile, accompanied by a guide and lifesaver who not only showed us around but also took awesome photographs! All the staff were fantastic, everything was provided for (including snorkel and fins) - all in all a great way to spend a few hours. 100% recommend.
