Visit two iconic places in the island in just one day. Explore the rainforest El Yunque and enjoy authentic puertorrican food in one of the oldest markets in Puerto Rico. We love to start our day early and travel with small groups to make the experience more personal and unique. We are dedicated to offering the best possible tour and experience guided by a Puerto Rican born and raised on the island. Our focus is outdoor adventures where we seek to connect with nature and learn about the wonders of Borinken.

El Yunque National Forest
We are going to visit the eastern side of our rainforest El Yunque for a fun adventure. A hike guided by a local tour guide of 30 to 40 minutes long on a muddy, slippery but fun path where we would learn about the flora and fauna hidden in the mountains (PROPER SHOES ARE RECOMMENDED). Also get to swim on fresh, natural pools, have fun on a natural waterslide, cliff jumps and rope swing (water activities are optional).
Luquillo Beach
After the hike we are going to visit one of the oldest markets in Puerto Rico, Los Kioskos de Luquillo, to have a delicious puertorrican lunch close to the beach (food price not included).

5.00We were with Adriana and she was just an amazing tour guide. She took the time to explain the flora and fauna and the historical cultural context of the lands. Her love and passion for El Yunque really shined through and it was such a great motivational experience. She safely led us up the mountain, guiding us on any rough and slippery spots. I was not very comfortable with swimming and jumping into water but she was super supportive and encouraging and will push you in all of the good ways. Highly recommend!!:)

5.00These are the absolute BEST people to do this excursion with! They were amazing from beginning to end. I had no clue this excursion would be as incredible as it was. The knowledge, passion and amazing energy from Marlon and Lilo was unmatched! The rainforest was so beautiful. They cheered us on, motivated us and kept us safe. To top off the amazing day, we went to the Luquillo Kiosk and the food was chefs kiss!!! The beach was beautiful and they have jet ski options. By the time the tour was over, we felt like family. Great great people! 1,000,000/10 would recommend! You will not regret it!

5.00The tour guides Marlon and Lilo were amazing. The rainforest and all its natural wonders is top tier. Please prepared to rock climb and wear shoes that will grip to slippery rock. A few people in my party fell and so did l but l would fall again for the experience.

5.00This was one of the best excursions i’ve ever tried. It was so amazing to be able to connect with nature and I left feeling so calm. Adriana was such an amazing guide, she was very patient and had such a positive vibe that made the experience 100 times better. If I come back i’m 100% booking with her again, and if you book with her i promise you won’t regret it.

5.00Lilo’s energy was the highlight of our trip! She provided an amazing experience and showed us the hospitality and might of Puerto Rico and its people. We had the opportunity to do a unique hike with water activities, face painting, history lessons, food stops, and fruit. There was never a moment we felt rushed, always supported! Throughout the different phases Lilo provided clear and helpful instructions keeping our safety a top priority all while having fun. I’d highly recommend this experience as El Yunque Rainforest is a beautiful place to explore with tons of biodiversity. I’d even more highly recommend booking with Isla Borinken especially Lilo if you want a more intimate tour experience with a knowledgeable guide that cares for the environment. Lilo’s charisma will carry you through the entire experience!

5.00This tour was so amazing. Adriana was the most perfect tour guide. I thought this trip would be scary but she honestly made it seem like a walk in the park. She was so informative and sweet. Definitely will book again the next time I come !!

His knowledge of the rainforest was incredible—he explained the local flora, plants, wildlife, and ecosystem in a way that was both informative and engaging. Beyond the hike itself, he shared fascinating insights about Puerto Rican culture, history, and traditions that gave us a much deeper appreciation for the island. Marlon was friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He made everyone feel welcome, kept the group engaged, and ensured we had an amazing time from start to finish. The organic waterfall hike was beautiful, but Marlon’s expertise and personality are what truly made the experience unforgettable. 5.00Adriana was our tour guide and she was AMAZING, couldn’t have asked for a better guide, she was super informative about the Forrest itself and recommend amazing restaurants post Forrest, she is a nature lover and encouraged us to not be afraid in getting in the water. Everyone there was incredibly respectful and responsible and I can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again!
