Next proceed to the elephants & enjoy this guided session with experienced guides & keepers from this sanctuary which takes place between 11 am to 12 noon daily, learning the efforts made by this sanctuary in elephant conservation in Kenya. Nonetheless, get to enjoy the view of these baby elephants, & make great memories as you engage in photography. During this visit you also get to witness them having their bottle of milk as they relax & play engaging in sandbathes & a cool of mud bath in the heat of the day. You also have an opportunity to adopt & sponsor any of the orphaned baby elephants of your choice during this visit.
Giraffe Centre
After pick-up, you will be driven to the Giraffe Centre where you will learn more about the conversation efforts in place to conserve an endangered Rothschild giraffe sub-species. Under the supervision of a professional, you can appreciate the giraffes from a raised observation platform. These platforms allow the visitors to come eye-to-eye with the giraffes. The center also has a large auditorium where visitors can listen to talks about Giraffe conservation and a various activities the center is involved in throughout Kenya.

5.00We had a half-day tour with Faith, and she was amazing! She made the whole experience so much fun and was a fantastic guide, giving us a great introduction to Nairobi. She made everything easy to organise, from finding the best spots to see the elephants to the giraffe feeding experience. Her local knowledge and friendly nature really made the day special. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you have a short time in Nairobi and want to make the most of your visit.

5.00We had a wonderful tour to the bead factory, followed by the wildlife conservation where we saw a baby rhino, baby zebra, and 13 young elephants, and finished at the giraffe centre. Our guide Faith was fantastic, very friendly, funny, helpful and accomodating. She definitely made the tour a wonderful experience! Highly recommend :)

5.00Highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Kelvin! He was so kind and knowledgeable which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. I managed to book on last minute (the night before) so had the car to myself but Kelvin was so lovely and made sure I was okay every step of the way. He even took photos for me as I was by myself which meant I had memories of the day. Seeing the elephants in the orphanage was definitely a highlight! They’re doing such beautiful work. Huge thank you Kelvin for such a wonderful experience

5.00Our day visiting the Elephant Orphanage, and Giraffe Centre was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Dennis. From the moment he picked us up, Dennis was warm, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. His driving was smooth and safe throughout Nairobi’s busy roads which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Dennis was patient, friendly and always happy to answer questions. At each location he explained what we were seeing and gave helpful tips so we could get the most out of the visit. The elephant orphanage and giraffe centre were incredible experiences, and Dennis made the day flow perfectly so we never felt stressed or hurried. His local knowledge and genuine enthusiasm made the tour feel personal rather than just another stop on a schedule. If you are lucky enough to have Dennis as your driver and guide, you are in excellent hands. He is a true professional and a wonderful ambassador for Kenya. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an authentic, enjoyable and well-organised day exploring Nairobi. Thank you Dennis for such a memorable experience! 🐘🦒🌿

5.00We wanted to be in a small group and wanted to do a half day tour to experience the amazing elephant orphanage in Nairobi National Park and the giraffes sanctuary. We also didn’t want to have to go out too early having only just arrived. Kelvin of ‘Rustic Nature Tours’ delivered this all perfectly for us. A she took us to a community project supporting local women with making beautiful beads which was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and interesting and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and this company. They also do all sorts of Safaris so we will contact him again when we return. PS please note separate to any tour booking the guest must pay a park fee per person and it’s best to do this in advance via the National park website

5.00The sights were once in a lifetime - elephant orphanage and giraffe sanctuary worth a trip to Nairobi. Kelvin, our guide, was great - picked us up on time, pointed out animals on the way, was full of information. Will refer any friends visiting Nairobi his way!
