4.00I would wait and buy ferry tickets at the terminal when ready to travel! I pre-purchased my return only to find the ferry is t running that day, so i will need to repurchase. Not a huge deal! The purchase was easily made thru Viator, so that was fine!

3.00Very crowded. Disembarking was confusing. We had luggage and had no idea where to pick up at end of trip. Taxi station is a bit of a walk. I might recommend with a few caveats.

1.00Nobody speaks english. Terrible. Dirty. No wifi. Awful food. Crew is rude. There are no announcements. Ticket office works slow. Even if you buy ticket here, you still have to collect it in their office.
French Polynesia is a must!

5.00Tahiti is a paradise. If you haven’t experienced landscapes like those where volcanic islands are surrounded by reefs that turn the sea into pools, you should add it to your list! The local people are very friendly, at once learn to say “la ora na”!! Fishing is their main industry and fishing there has been one of the best experiences of my life, there is no structure, the whole sea is super deep and you go hunting for signs of life, but when you find them, the reward is tremendous!

1.00Purchased tickets for our return from MOOREA to Papeete on Mar 31 ferry at 5pm, no ferry available. Had to buy return on another ferry service. Unable to get a refund.
