Prepare yourselves to explore the history, the architecture, the culture and the gastronomy of the capital of Santa Catarina with a local Historian! Join us!
Once we're all together in front of the local coffee shop Café Da Praça, we'll begin the tour around the historic centre and we'll learn of the secrets of its most important monuments and buildings.
As we walk, we'll talk about the indigenous groups that occupied the Island of Santa Catarina, and travel through the 17th century, a time marked by the arrival of Portuguese colonisers and African enslaved.
After learning about the founders of the nicknamed "Magic Iisland", we'll make our way to the Cruz e Sousa Palace and the November 15th Square.
Next, we'll explore important landmarks for the black community in Florianopolis. In addition, we'll also pass by the Álvaro de Carvalho Theatre, one of the most beautiful monuments in the city.
We'll finish the experience with a little tour and a surprise at the Public Market.

5.00I did the Free Walking Tour in Florianópolis with Isaac and the experience exceeded all expectations. Isaac was extremely punctual, committed and demonstrated a deep knowledge of the city's history. As a historian, he transmits the information with great confidence, contextualizing the events in a clear, interesting and engaging way. Another highlight is his sensitivity and empathy in addressing social issues, enriching the tour with important reflections and a more comprehensive view of the local reality. In addition, he was able to provide tasting and samples at various restaurants along the way, making the experience even more enjoyable and authentic. One difference that surprised me was that, after the tour, I received a link with professional photos taken during the tour, a souvenir of excellent quality that demonstrates the care and dedication with the participants. It was a very well organized tour, informative and welcoming. I recommend closed eyes to anyone who wants to know Florianópolis in a deeper, fun and enriching way. 5.00Isaac is an excellent guide! Attentive, fun and very well prepared. A blend of history, curiosity and an invitation to reflection on the transformations that make a special place become what it is. Sure, when I have more time in Floripa, I'll do other tours with him.

5.00Isaac is a very experienced and engaging guide who brings many elements of the city, island and country to life. History is the main focus but there's also social change, gastronomy, architecture and much more. Isaac will know the answer to almost any question you may have and creates a very welcoming atmosphere. I'd thoroughly recommend the tour to anyone visiting this ilha da magia!

5.00Super pleasant experience, cold and delicious. We passed the beach of Penha, Balneário Camburiu and Florianópolis. It is beautiful, the beaches super quiet and safe at night, excellent restaurants with great wine options to enjoy the view that was very special for me. We stayed in a hotel on the beach, restaurant nearby, it was raining, and yet it was very worth the experience. High prices, given that the date was of significant tourist movement. It was worth it!

The photos create a relevant context for the presentation, and the lesson Isaac gives is easy to understand. Mandatory script for those seeking to understand the historical importance of the island of magic.

5.00Isaac had it all against him on the day of our tour, an imposing heat, several attractions closed for the pre-carnival that we had to see in the distance....and what did he do in two hours? Give us the best historical tour of Florianópolis, interactive (questions and prizes, hehehehe), interesting facts (best bars and nightclubs), shopping and food streets, muuuuuuu much information concentrated on the two hours walk....... chapeau for Isaac, more than recommended, a must-see of Floripa, and deserves more than the 5 points that Tripadvisor delivers (visited with my 11-year-old daughter in February 2026).

5.00I left the ISAAC tour having a lot of information about the history of this region, along with recommendations for places to eat, drink, drink coffee and even dance. Maintaining interest when talking about history is a great credit. If you come, you MUST, take this tour with him.
