  Loved this trip! I was staying over in Bahrain for a few days, so decided to make the most of it by taking a day trip to Saudi. Best decision I made! Pros: Conversed with Maher beforehand about visas. Since I had a UK passport and an Emirates ID, I used my UK passport to enter (fee of 105USD) and my E.ID, to re-enter Bahrain (free of charge). I did my own research prior, but I'm glad Maher knew his stuff because it made the process smoother. Picked up from my hotel with zero issues. Maher is flexible with want you want to see, photo opps etc. The corniche is very beautiful. There's a part there which you can hire bikes. It was too hot for such activities, but if you visit during winter, I'd advise to do this because the scenery is so beautiful. Visited the mosque. You can purchase zamzam water from the shops aswell. I'd advise buying some if you're able to take liquids back with you. Maher was very open with letting me do what I wanted. I just wanted dates and food 😅 and he accommodated. The heritage village was my favourite place to visit. It's a building which contains a museum, shops, resturant etc. If you're into history and culture, you will LOVE this place. I was so happy that I got to try traditional Saudi coffee!! 😀 I wanted to try Saudi food too, so Maher suggested the resturant at the heritage site. The food at this resturant tasted very fresh & was of good quality. The bathrooms were very clean. On the way back, we drove past King Fahd University. I was surprised by how huge it was. Overall this was a very enjoyable, and culturally immersive trip 😀 It's worth noting that I am a female solo traveller. I was alone on this trip (there were no other tourists with me & many sites didn't have a lot of tourists, due to the current situation in the Middle East) yet I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. My only wish is that I wish it was longer, so that I could see more (but I understand why that isn't possible, as it's only day trip). It's inspired me to want to come to Saudi again so that I can see the rest of this wonderful country. Thank you Maher for being a wonderful guide.

  Great experience! Just crossing the bridge from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia is an experience by itself. Maher is knowledgeable about the history of Saudi and he did everything to made sure I'm comfortable and get everything I asked for. I highly recommend booking this tour with him.

  the driver guide came to pick us up punctual at the hotel expert car guide the car was great comfortable and beautiful made us see everything giving us the right times and in the final gave us unscheduled visit of the oil and gas wells all lit and the fire show absolutely not to be missed advice at the airport make yourself do the double entry and exit permit from Bahrain

  Whole day trip, by a fabulous guide "Mahar" his knowledge was amazing, nothing was rushed, saw some amazing places, had a great lunch, local cuisine and super cheap price, the whole day was first class, expensive trip, but well worth every penny

  We had a lovely day. Our driver was excellent and we would recommend this trip to anyone. The border crossings were quick and easy and we had a really great day

  I went on this visit having done the exceptional full day Bahrain tour with Maher. Having him explain the border formalities was excellent, and then we started some lovely photo shots on the corniches of Al Khobar and Damman. We then explored the souk in Damman and then headed over to the lovely Heritage Village built by a local businessman, with his collection of cars and other memorabilia. Finally, we visited the beautiful cultural centre in Dhahran which has a cinema, exhibition space and theatre. Thank-you so much Maher.

  This was a good experience and gave me a good introduction to Saudi and Saudi culture. FADHELL is an EXCELLENT guide and knows to navigate the border crossing. Visas were obtained quickly with little to no effort. The stops on the tour were all good and informative. The tour was a good length, left around 9:30 returned to the hotel about 17:00. Also, this tour has NO HIGH PRESSURE SELLING. You are NOT taken to jewelry stores, carpet factory, tea house, etc. and subjected to sales pressure. At the Heritage Center, there are a few stores where you can shop, but it is totally optional, and the shopkeepers did not come out and yell at us to buy their goods, which I’ve encountered in other countries. Saudi and Bahraini culture is refined and civilized. Thank you again for a wonderful day to see some of Saudi Arabia.
