Durres
Your day starts with a pickup by your tour guide, and then you’ll head towards Durrës. During the drive, your guide will share interesting facts and simple stories about Albania and the areas you pass. After about 1 hour, you’ll arrive in Durrës and begin a relaxed walking tour to feel the vibe of the city and learn about its history
Descending on foot, we visit one of the city's ancient towers, a restored structure that serves as a panoramic balcony offering a breathtaking 360° view of Durrës and the sea. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the fortifications that once protected this strategic port city.

Great day out, Golem has beautiful beach area

5.00I was sent lots of detailed information from Smart Tour Albania prior to thus fantastic trip, along with the pick up time and a photo of the vehicle to look out for. Our Guide, Denis was excellent along with our very safe driver. Denis escorted us to the Castle at Durrës and outlined all the import information relating to it. We had the perfect amount of time to explore the area and to get some food or refreshments before moving on to Golam beach. We were dropped off right at the beach front and had 2.5 hours to enjoy the area. Lots of cafes and beach activities to enjoy and the sea was a lovely temperature for swimming in. We hit rush hour traffic on the way back but we had a great driver to get us back safely. I highly recommend this trip, everything was perfect.

5.00This was a perfect break from the hustle and bustle of Tirana and more convenient to get to than Sarrandes. Vilson is such a great tour guide! He really brought the energy of the group up and even taught us a few Albanian words! That was so cool. He had so many great facts about the city that I didn’t hear on other tours that I had taken. I would definitely recommend doing this if you need a more relaxed scheduled. The water was absolutely perfect.

5.00We had a lovely experience at Durres city beach and Golem beach. Both beaches are very beautiful though Golem beach is much wider. Our guide Vilson was very interactive, funny and provided clear instructions and was always at hand to help where needed.

5.00A great experience package which combines Albanian history at the start and lots of beach fun right after. Incredible host who was professional and patient with everyone. 10/10 would highly recommend.
