Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your accommodation, and we will head to the east of Ulaanbaatar to visit the Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue (Tsonjin Boldog Complex). The statue is considered the world's largest equestrian statue the site is associated with historic events where Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip.
After lunch, you will drive to Terelj National Park and take an hour-long horseback riding tour in the Terelj NP valley with the interesting rock formations of. Next to Turtle Rock, you will catch Eagle on your shoulder. Then you will hike to the Ariyabal Temple. The temple is located on the slope of the mountain and is a great place for a short hike. Terelj's geographical unique shape was created by the influence of water and wind through millions of years. Therefore, you can take beautiful scenic photos. After the full-day trip, we will transfer you to your UB accommodation or the airport.

Chinggis Khaan Statue And Gorkhi Terelj
We travel to the nearest and famous tourist destination to Ulaanbaatar, Gorkhi-Terelj National Park and the Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue (Tsonjin Boldog Complex), a statue with 40meters height which is considered the world's largest equestrian statue. You will get to know more about the Great Mongolian Empire, as well as the history of Mongolians in the heart of Asia and their conquest throughout the world.
Gorkhi Terelj National Park
You will see the nature of the southwestern region of the Khenti Nuruu Mountain range, which is the end of the Siberian taiga. The natural scenery and fresh air in this mountainous forest area with unique rock formations are extraordinary. You will experience horseback riding which played an essential role in the Mongolian nomadic lifestyle.

5.00We booked a last minute private tour (2 days before) and everything turned out perfect and seamless! We reached out to Meet Mongolia via WhatsApp, and they were incredibly helpful and prompt in their responses. My husband and I wanted to modify the tour on their website -- and they were more than happy and accommodating to change things specifically towards our wants. The day of the tour, our guide promptly picked us up on the dot in our hotel lobby, where we then jumped into a comfortable SUV with driver. On the way out to the sights, we stopped along the way to pick up any food/snacks we wanted from a large Carrefour supermarket. Our guide also bought us plenty of water for our day trip there as well. From there, we stopped at the Chinggis Khaan Statue/museum, visited Turtle Rock, held an eagle, and visited the Monastery, before heading back to our hotel in the city. Overall, we had a fantastic time, seeing everything we wanted to see on our tour. Our guide (I can't remember his name) was amazing. His English was perfect, and we really enjoyed our time with him. He was incredibly informative, but we also really liked how he gave us authentic and honest descriptions of places/history without it feeling too touristy. We would definitely recommend this tour to other travelers, and would reach out again if we ever return to Mongolia!

5.00This was a wonderful and comprehensive tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wanted to see some of Terelj. I was very impressed that they gave helmets to the group when we rode horses, as many places do not do that.
I would gladly do it again.

5.00We were worried because English was not our first language, but they paraphrased it in a way that was easy to understand and the explanation was very easy to understand. The amount of knowledge was also amazing and I had a lot of experiences! Thank you very much. I hope to see you again the next time I visit Mongolia!

5.00Miigaa was so lovely, and gave me such a good insight to Mongolian culture! The tour itself was fantastic. Coming in winter was a risk (the Mongolian cold is no joke!) but Miigaa really looked after me! The tour felt very personalised, and it was nice to be able to do the tour at my own pace! The attractions themselves were fantastic, I loved the monastery the most, and although a little bit of a walk, the views were absolutely spectacular. Recommend this to anyone looking at booking a tour to ULB - thanks again Miigaa!
