Customers who do not arrive by the meeting time cannot join the tour

Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.

Itsukushima Shrine
A World Heritage site. Established in the 6th century, this shrine is one of Japan's finest, and is famous for its beautiful Shinden-zukuri style structure (architecture representative of a nobles' residence in the Heian period). The contrast of the green of Mt. Misen behind the lacquered shrine pavilion and the blue of the Seto Sea is beautiful and evocative of the underwater palace of Ryugujo.
Miyajima
Time for lunch is allotted on Miyajima. This region is known for oysters, Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, and conger eel rice bowl, which are available at many shops on Miyajima. Customers are free to enjoy their preferred meals. *Lunch is not included in the tour booking charge.

5.00We are a family of 4 with children ages 19 and 12 years old. We booked through our travel agent and paid around AUD800. This includes coaster ride, admission fees and round trip boat tickets. I bet it would be much cheaper if booked directly with the operator or via Klook. However, we still consider this tour a good value for money. We were in our last leg of our 21-day tour around Japan when we did this tour. Our children had enough of crowded/ rushed tours, castles and shrines. They were initially adamant on going. By the end, they were glad they did. They said that Hiroshima and Miyajima Tour is something different - educational and eye-opener for them. It wasn’t rushed compared to other tours we had. The tour guide, Mayu, is part of the reason as well why we love the tour. Mayu is so knowledgeable and she conveys her knowledge in a fun and not boring way. She even go above and beyond to stay in the trains station after the tour to see to it that everyone can get to respective shinkansen/ train back to hotels. A plus, it was not a big group tour. We were only 12 pax. There was so much room in the coaster. The meeting place was easy to find too. As soon as you walked through North Exit from shinkansen just 3 minutes walk. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00Our guide Mayu was absolutely brilliant. She was very informative and friendly and was kind enough to share her personal/family stories of living in Hiroshima. The Peace Memorial Park and Museum perfectly represent the impact of the a-bomb, the respective call for peace and the lasting impact on the community

5.00Miyu was a wonderful guide. As a Hiroshima local, she provided a special perspective we could not have had on our own. Miyajima is gorgeous. We could have spent more time there. But Miyu’s guidance through peace park and the museum was perfect. The museum is so well done - a must for every human being.

5.00The trip was well-planned with the fun activities happening in the morning (Torii Shrine and Miyajima with the fun shops, wild goats and beautiful views and then ending with the story of the Hiroshima atomic bombing and the museum. The museum was very difficult to walk through emotionally but it is done with truth and life too. The stories of survivors helped to overcome the sadness of the total destruction of a vibrant community and so many lost. Mayu was an excellent guide. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She was clear on instructions and told us exactly where to be when.. She shared the story of her father and grandparents experience in Hiroshima on the day of the bombing.

5.00The tour was fantastic! Our tour guide was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable as she grew up locally. She was happy to answer questions but in reality we barely had any questions because she had prepped us so well for each part of our day before we experienced it. The tour is long but very worth it! There is time built in for your own exploration as well as guided tour time. I would highly recommend and if traveling back I would take more of my family and friends on this tour.
