Experience the panamanian rainforest in a very short distance from the city. Perfect experience for birdwatchers, nature lovers or photographers. Discover the biodiversity of the tropical panamanian rainforest, home to more than 400 species of birds and several mamals. Capture memories that will lost a lifetime. We can include the visit to the Panama Rainforest Discovery Center upon request (entrance cost is 20$ per person). Transfer time from hotel to the park is approximately 1 hour.

5.00Mario was WONDERFUL. He was willing to customize our trip to our wants/needs. We asked for a long hike and he gave us that. He had binoculars, water, and a phone charger. He was so knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Solo travelers should feel safe with him.

5.00We do a lot of tours, and this was hands down one of the best we've ever done. Extremely knowledgeable guide (who also knows about photography, light, etc). Small, private tour (literally two of us + our guide), so we can look for the things we most want to see (in our case, we wanted to see toucans, and we were looking to do wildlife photography). It's a mix of driving and walking, so if you'd prefer a tour that isn't a 10-mile death march in the rain, this is perfect. (My lemon of a knee was very pleased by this) He can mimic or play tons of bird calls and attract all kinds of birds, and he knows where (and what time of day) to find pretty much any wildlife. Can't say enough good things. 10/10, absolutely recommend.

5.00Mario was a great guide. He was on time, and knew just the spots to take us to see toucans, monkeys, woodpeckers, a sloth, caymans and so many other birds (probably 40 or so). He had a lot of information to provide when I had questions, and was flexible to focus on finding what we were interested. I wouldn’t have seen 1/5 of what we saw without him! Would definitely recommend this for birders and naturalists. He helped us get great photos !

5.00We had a wonderful time birdwatching with Mario. He had a lot of knowledge and was enthusiastic to show us as many birds as possible. He knew the location of several birds that we would never have found on our own. One of the highlights was visiting a snack place where he had set up feeders for hummingbirds and other fruits for different birds. He even gave us snacks there while we rested and observed the multiple birds. The experience is highly recommended.

5.00We had an amazing experience in a morning with Mario! We saw over 50 species— 20+ were new lifers for us. Mario worked to help us find the species which we were most interested to see— plus he went above and beyond in giving us free coffee, empanadas, and fruit. He has a space to use clean bathrooms while watching feeder birds too. He was very conscientious about our physical abilities. He is an excellent teacher and guide and a kind soul.
