Not only do you have the best chance of seeing a Sri Lankan leopard, but you also have a very high chance of seeing elephants. We went during a period of time that Yala national park was experiencing a mini-drought. This meant that the elephants were further inside the park around the permanent lakes and not need the main roads. Even then, we still managed to spot a lone male grazing in amongst the trees. If you go to Yala when there are not experiencing a drought then you will certainly see herds of elephants roaming around the park in plain sight.

Very good safari with very beautiful discoveries of animals in abundance: elephants, leopards, exotic birds, and many others. I highly recommend it; the driver is very attentive and considerate.

We had an excellent time with Yala La Safari Tours in Yala National Park. The team was welcoming and very professional, and our passionate guide allowed us to observe elephants, leopards, and beautiful birds in their natural habitat. The landscapes were stunning, the organization impeccable, and the safari very enjoyable from start to finish. An experience I highly recommend to nature and animal lovers.

Amazing safari experience with La Safari Inn! The staff was friendly and helpful, the jeep was comfortable, and our guide was very knowledgeable. We were lucky to see elephants, leopards, crocodiles, and many birds. Everything was well organized and truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!
