1.00Nightmare experience — completely ruined our Iceland trip First line: Never, ever book with Gravel Travel — they left us stranded in the freezing cold, ignored our calls, and destroyed our short Iceland adventure. We had a confirmed Golden Circle tour on Friday, 16th January, but Gravel Travel failed to pick us up, leaving us waiting over 40 minutes on the roadside. Their only “solution” was a refund after the fact, which is useless as we leave on the afternoon of 17th January. Our trip, the money we spent on accommodation and flights, and our dream of experiencing the Golden Circle were completely ruined. We reached out to request reasonable compensation — for example, a visit to Laugarás hot springs, which was part of the original tour — but Gravel Travel has not responded. This is unprofessional, unfair, and shows a complete lack of care for customers. If you care about your time, money, and travel experience, stay far away from this company.
