Golden Circle Route
The Golden Circle is the most iconic destination from Reykjavik. On this route you will enjoy beautiful scenery and visit Iceland's three famous spots: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.
Thingvellir National Park
The Thingvellir are both historically and geologically a important location. Here was the first icelandic parliament founded in the late 900s and this is also the a visible division between the eurasian and the north american continental plates.

5.00This wonderful trip is a long day full of amazing sites. We had a wonderful driver named Michael, he was full of amazing facts about Iceland and its history! He was also very attentive to people who needed extra help. I would recommend water, snacks and a sandwich. There are restaurants at two of the stops. Make sure to layer your clothes, the weather changes quickly! The blue lagoon was so relaxing, I would recommend saving sometime to shower and wash your hair, the hair products are awesome! Don’t forget a hairbrush. Thanks for sharing your lovely island Michael!

4.00The company changed our pick up time and the order of stops. The tour driver made the day interesting and enjoyable. The tour includes quite a bit, but we were not at any place very long. The Blue Lagoon was the longest stop- 2 hours. Most of the rest was quick phone ops and some stops felt rushed. In terms of recommendations, it’s hard to say because our guide was good but I wasn’t thrilled with the company overall. I’d like to say “unsure “ but that’s not an option.

5.00Our all day tour was fantastic and that was due to our amazing driver/guide Dooley. He was so knowledgeable being a local, entertained us with his personal stories and drove us to all the incredible highlights included on this tour. He was kind, courteous and extremely personable. The day flew by and our entire bus had a wonderful day ! A big thank you to Dooley for showing us the magic of Iceland!

5.00Our Tour Guide 7/1 starting at 12 noon was great! She led the tour in a relaxed pace and our tour ended a little after 11 pm back at the cruise dock. I think her name was Petra! Well done!

5.00Excellent tour guide, mixes island history with local highlights. Tour is slow enough to take in every attraction but quick enough not to get bored.
