In the Plaça Nova, in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, almost touching the wall of the former Roman city, seven giant letters contrast with their historic backdrop. They are part of the alphabet created by Joan Brossa to spell out the word Barcino, the principal name of the Colonia Iulia Augusta Faventia Paterna Barcino, which was the origin of present-day Barcelona. The letters, six of them made of bronze and one of aluminium, are bolted to the ground and make up a fun and original display, very much in keeping with this Barcelona-born artist's visual poems

The building now known as the Palace of the Bishop is the first building of the new episcopal Barcelona that rises walled city of Barcelona, using the utensils inside the Roman walls. The New Square, opened in front of the Porta Praetoria of Roman wall, known as the Portal del Bisbe. It was created in 1355 when the water was channeled to Collserola Sant Jaume Square demolishing buildings facing the Portal del Bisbe, then we gave the name of New Square.

5.00Amazing tour with Germans who brought the Gothic Quarter to life with deep knowledge of history, architecture and fun facts. She went above and beyond calling an olive oil shop to help select some oil to bring home. The drinks and tapas at the end were a perfect finish!

5.00We did the tour of stories and legends of the Gothic quarter. I’ve been living in Barcelona for 6 years, and walking again through streets that I pass almost daily accompanied by Aaron was special. He's an honest guide who loves his work. His knowledge and passion for history is undeniable. I recommend it to everyone who wants to know how Barcelona became what it is, and uncover stories that cannot be read just by looking at its streets and walls. You will leave this tour with another perspective of the city, and in general with knowledge that will make you better understand our history and culture

5.00We have done the tour with Aaron and, although we are from Barcelona, he has explained many interesting stories that we did not know. He has answered all the questions and we have had a super nice time! I recommend it for whoever is a lover of the city and this magical neighborhood.

5.00Been living in Barcelona 4 years but Aaron showed me parts I had never seen before and learned so many things. So enjoyable, I would recommend this tour to local & tourist, alike. Well worth it.

4.00We had a really cool guide, she really knew her stuff. We made a parenting error having our kids at the beach all morning, then doing a walking tour in the evening. Thus we each were carrying a child in the heat. So, if you have small children set yourselves up for success learn from my mistake hahaha.
It's a very lame place.

1.00The tour was cancelled , received a message at 10:10 pm that I didn’t see and so we went instead of meeting for nothing... no other dates possible! The offices of the agency close! No replacement proposal!
