Yongduam Rock

Afterwards, we will fly to Jeju Island, also known as “Island of Gods”. The volcanic island has scenic natural beauty, unique cultural traditions and temperate climate. From 2007, the Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes were listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site in South Korea. We will visit Yongduam, Dragon’s Head Rock

Sangumburi Crater

the crater which has been designated as a Natural Monument., and is a flat crater, about 650 meters wide, 100 meters deep, and 2,070 meters in circumference. If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is a variety of plant-life in the crater.

Ilchul Land

Seongsan Ilchulbong

also called ‘Sunrise Peak’. It is an archetypal tuff cone formed by hydrovolcanic eruptions upon a shallow seabed about five thousand years ago. This volcanic crater offers some stunning views including one of the best sunrises Korea has to offer. and enjoy the Women diver show Women divers refer to female divers who dive into the ocean to gather various shellfish and seaweed without using any underwater diving equipment.

Jeju Folklore & Natural Museum

The Natural History Exhibition Hall displays mainly natural historical items such as marine life, soil and rocks, and fauna and flora of Jeju in a three-dimensional way. It gives visitors a better understanding of Jeju’s unique nature and culture. It is divided into an Ecology Hall of Marine Life, a Soil and Rock Exhibition Hall, and a Land Ecosystem Hall.

Mysterious Road (Dokkaebi Road)

also known as Dokkaebi Road. As the name of the road, it is mysterious. What we will experience here is that the road seems to be uphill, from the start point of Mysterious Road, when we turn the engine off, our car will start to roll uphill!

Yongdusan Park

it is called Yongdusan because the shape of the mountain resembles a dragon’s head emerging from the sea.

Busan Tower

a 120-meter tower that provides a stunning bird’s-eye view of the entire city of Busan, including islands and ships dotted in the distant seas.

Jagalchi Market

the largest fish market in Korea and a popular “must-go” site for tourists in Busan. The market is located beside Nampo Port which means the fish can be kept fresh and delivered quickly.

APEC Naru Park

The name Nurimaru APEC House is created by combining the Korean words Nuri (“world”) and maru (“summit”), and “APEC House,” which refers to an APEC conference hall. Collectively, it means “a house where the world summits gather together for an APEC meeting.”

Haeundae Beach

Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5 k m long, over a 30-50 m wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making Haeundae Beach perfect for swimming.

Yangdong Folk Village

Korea’s largest traditional village, showcasing the traditional culture of the Joseon Dynasty and the beautiful natural surroundings. Thanks to its many cultural heritages, including treasures, national treasures, and folklore materials, the entire village has been designated as a cultural heritage site. Many people have visited this village to see its wealth of cultural heritage and scenic surroundings. Charles, Prince of Wales, visited this village in 1993.

Bulguksa Temple

also known as “The Buddhist Country Temple”

Seokguram

Seokguram, located on Tohamsan Mountain, is the representative stone temple of Korea. The official name of Seokguram, National Treasure No. 24, is Seokguram Seokgul. Designated as a World Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995, it is an artificial stone temple made of granite.

Daereungwon Tomb Complex

Within Daereungwon Tomb Complex is Cheonmachong Tomb (Ancient Tomb No. 155), which was excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. The mound has a height of 12.7 m with a diameter of 50 m, and consists of a layer of rocks collected from streams. Below the rock layer is a wooden chamber that is 6.5 m long and 2.1 m wide, reaching 2.1 m in height, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered within the tomb, including Cheonmado, an artwork considered highly valuable as it is Korea's first artwork to be excavated from an ancient tomb.

Jeonju

an important tourist center that is famous for its Korean foods and historic traditional buildings. In May 2012, Jeonju was chosen as a Creative City for Gastronomy as part of UNESCO's Creative Cities Network. This honor recognizes the city's traditional home cooking handed down through generations over thousands of years, its active public and private food research, its system for nurturing talented chefs, and its hosting of distinctive local food festivals.

Hanji Museum

Jeonju Hanji Museum was Korea’s first museum specializing in paper, it has an extensive collection of 3,000 artifacts and a database documenting the long history and superiority of hanji (traditional Korean paper). The museum also hosts two special exhibitions every year with diverse paper-related themes.

Jeonju Hanok Village

the largest Korean Village with various traditional cultural facilities in the downtown area.

Gyeonggijeon Shrine

he symbol of Jeonju’s Korean-style village. Gyeong gi jeon is especially beautiful in the autumn. Historical dramas and movies use the surrounding landscape as their background.

Tapsa Temple

Tapsa Temple is famous for the over 80 stone pagodas built by Lee Gapyong, a retired scholar. Those stone pagodas have different sizes and shapes from cone-shaped to straight-shaped. Behind Daeungjeon, Cheonjitap tower is located. It is the largest tower, with a height 3 times as high as the average adult’s height. How this tall tower was built is still unclear, drawing much attention from people.

Hwaseong Fortress

it is the best of Korean traditional architecture designated as World cultural heritage by UNESCO. In other word, Haenggung, meaning detached palace, is a palace built within the walls of Hwaseong to house King Jeongjo when he was away from his palace in Seoul worshipping at his father's tomb. When he was not in residence it was used by his delegated official as a base of government. The palace was built in 1789, but was expanded between 1794 and 1796 to house 600 compartments and in doing so became the largest haenggung in Korea.

Namdaemun Market

the largest and oldest wholesale market in Korea. Bargaining is widely accepted here and makes its wares more affordable.

DMZ

The highlight of today’s tour is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). *Note: Must bring passport for ID check. Located on each side of 38th parallel, this infamous border was established at the end of the war in 1953 at the signing Panmunjom’s armistice in order to separate North and South Korea. Upon arrival, proceed to passport security control followed by a short introduction at the United Nations’ camp. Visit Dora Observatory and Dorasan railway station. Discover Imjingak Park with the Memorial, the Liberty Bridge and the bell of unification. Late morning, visit the 3rd tunnel dug into the rock at a depth of 73m and able of moving a full division per hour with their weapons.

Insadong

Antique cultural street, one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul. It represents the focal point of Korean traditional culture and crafts. Stores in Insadong specialize in a wide variety of goods that can only be purchased or appreciated in Korea.

We are heading out early to the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace to experience the (more than 500 years old) Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace is commonly referred to as the Northern Palace because its location is furthest north when compared to the neighboring palaces of Changdeokgung (Eastern Palace) and Gyeonghuigung (Western Palace). Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces.

Located inside Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum of Korea presents historical artifacts that were used in the daily lives of Korean people in the past. Through the displays, visitors can learn about the domestic and agricultural lifestyles, as well as Korea’s cultural beliefs.

Bukchon Hanok Village

we will breathe in the history with a walk around the Bukchon Hanok Village seeing several traditional homes, Hanok. many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. As Bukchon Hanok Village is an actual neighborhood with people's homes, visitors are advised to be respectful at all times while looking around.

Dongdaemun Market

Finish the day with some time at leisure at the Dongdaemun open market which is the largest open market in the Orient. Dongdaemun Market is a large commercial district of traditional markets and hundreds of Int’l restaurants as well as many street foods.

The private car/charter will take you back to Incheon International Airport. I know it’s hard to say goodbye to the country you fell in love with, but it’s time to head back home. Just remember, Seoul welcomes you back anytime!
