This 2 hour and 45-minute tour includes 2.5 hours traveling through the waters of Icy Strait – home to a wide array of wildlife including Orcas (killer whales), Stellar sea lions, sea otters, Harbor seals, Dall’s porpoise, and the magnificent humpback whale. Keep an eye out for brown bears and Sitka Black-tailed deer meandering the shoreline, and the noble Bald eagle perched on tree-tops.

5.00Most of the guests wanted to see Orcas and even though both Kate (marine biologist) and The captain (Alana I think) thought it would be difficult to find them, they went out of their way to find them for us. Which I’m delighted to say they did and we got to spend a great amount of time with them before heading off to show us humpbacks, sea Otters and sea lions 😁 The Captain also shared lots of great information about her Tlingit culture when asked. All in all, the best excursion we did in Alaska and one of My top 5 excursions ever. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you ladies 🙏

5.00Absolutely AMAZING experience. If you do nothing else in Alaska, this is an absolute must. This was most certainly my favorite part of our Alaskan cruise, and it wasn’t even close. This tour group in specific has loads of local knowledge and endless knowledge and respect towards the whales. We saw too many whales to count (roughly 50 orcas and a handful of humpbacks). Our tour guides (one environmentalist and one local captain) were extremely knowledgeable and you could tell they had a deep respect for the whales and the environment. Book this excursion, and book with this group, I promise you that you won’t regret it!!

5.00Great experience the highlight of our trip. We saw Orcas, Humpbacks, Dall porpoise, sea lions, otters, and eagles. The team accommodated a mistake I made and was able schedule us for an earlier trip so we wouldn’t miss our cruise. And the crew of our boat were professional and personable.

5.00Excellent!!! Got to see lots of whales, also bears, eagles, sea otters. Several viewings of bubble netting feeding with groups of whales and a rare double breach. Very exciting. Nice, enclosed boat with opening windows for nice viewing, not a crowded party boat. Good crew.
