Come hike with Alpenglow Adventures Sitka! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime! Sitka, Alaska has some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world. We offer hiking tours on these trails with professional, local guides. We'll hike in the Tongass National Forest, through old growth trees and surrounded by steep, towering mountains. Hikes include round trip transportation to and from location of your choice, trekking poles, water, snacks, guided hike, safety information and equipment, and sunscreen. Recommended packing list includes breathable layers, waterproof clothing, sturdy hiking shoes, and a day pack. We also offer Peaks and Pints tours, which includes a hike followed by a brewery visit and tour at Harbor Mountain Brewing Co. Our tours are all small group so we can cater to your hiking abilities and preferences. We want to create the best experience for your group! Beautiful hike to Beaver Lake

5.00My daughter and I had a great time on our hike to Beaver Lake with Sarah. I won't give her all the credit for the gorgeous, sunny weather we had but Sarah was a great guide and host. Lots of fun information about the area mixed with fun conservation like she was an old friend. My daughter lost her cell phone on the trail. We eventually found it back in town at the police station were some friendly locals turned it in. Thanks to the vacationers that found it and tried to contact us, the locals that turned it into the police, and especially Sarah who went above and beyond to track it down. Sarah even gave us a tour of the town (beyond the police station) to see the Totem Museum, the Orthodox church, and the beautiful view from the bridge. She also took us to a great crab roll food truck for a late lunch. We had a lot of excellent guides on our trip but Sarah was by far the best. Overall, one of the major highlights of the trip to Alaska!

5.00This a such a mesmerizing experience. As a nature lover I wanted to stop like every 10 minutes to take pictures and admire the beauty. Have been hiking for over 5 years and this one has definitely become top 5. The change of biomes within miles is so amazing. Colton our amazing tour guide made the experience very engaging. Showing us the hidden gems, and teaching us about the nature like plants. Go in with a curious mind.

5.00Great experience. There was a small hiccup with the meeting time, but it all worked out. We met with Lilli for our guided hike, and I had an amazing time. Beautiful area with top notch scenery, even with the rain! Definitely would recommend this excursion but also ensure you're relatively fit because most all of the area is going to have you doing some climbing/hiking UP! ;)

5.00LAURA IS THE BEST from the time of booking Laura communicated in a timely and efficient manner. Our hike was fantastic in spite of less than perfect weather. She had a back up plan ( a visit to the local Fortress of the Bear- which was spectacular ) while we waited out some serious rain. Laura is the perfect guide sharing local history/knowledge , ensuring our safety and comfort at all times - in addition to being friendly and fun. A first class experience for our whole family(parents and adult kids).
