• Great Kayak Trip across Tenby North Beach

  Great fun kayak trip in a group of about 8. Great kit, friendly, skilled and helpful staff. You get a good long trip with interesting things to see including a stop at a beach only accessible by kayak; so for 15 or 20 minutes it’s yours. You need a reasonable fitness and strength but it is not too hard. You do have to be able to pull the kayak back to the start point at the end. For reference, we are both around 60 and active but not athletes by any stretch and we were ok.

  We had a fantastic time sea kayaking with Tenby Adventures! Our guides, Tom and Elfie, were absolutely brilliant. Two of us in the group were quite nervous before we set off, but they were so reassuring, patient and supportive that we felt completely safe in their capable hands throughout the trip. They were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating information about the coastline, wildlife and local history as we explored. One of the highlights was Tom picking up a huge jellyfish and telling us lots of fun facts about it—it was such a memorable experience! We’d highly recommend Tenby Adventures to anyone looking for a fun, safe and informative sea kayaking adventure. Thanks, Tom and Elfie, for making it such a great day!

  Had an amazing experience kayaking for the first time. Tom the guide was very knowledgeable, patient and made us feel safe at all times. Cannot recommend highly enough. Bear in mind this is physical activity which requires a reasonable level of fitness.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic kayaking excursion with Tom from Tenby Adventure. He was amazing from start to finish. Not only was he a great guide on the water, but his knowledge of the local area was incredible. Tom shared fascinating information about the beaches, sea, tides, and the history of Wales throughout the trip. His understanding of how the tides work and their impact on the coastline was both informative and engaging. It felt like every question we asked was met with a knowledgeable and interesting answer. What really stood out was his passion for the area and his ability to explain things in a way that kept everyone interested. He genuinely seems to know a little bit about everything, making the whole experience educational as well as great fun. Took some amazing photos of us🙏🏽 We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for an unforgettable kayaking experience in Tenby.   We had a great time on the water, very professionally run. Team very friendly all instructions were clear and concise felt very safe. Mark's pirate story was great.

  Love Pembrokeshire and always fancied seeing the coast from a different angle. Wasn’t disappointed picking this trip. I went with my son and at 68 was the oldest there by some distance. Was made to feel very welcome and any anxiety I might have had soon disappeared. Tom our guide was excellent. Safety was high priority and we all had a full briefing before being set afloat. Perfect for either beginners or those experienced at kayaking. I wasn’t expecting the depth of Tom’s local knowledge about the history of Tenby and its local geology and wildlife. It was a very full 3 hours and a good workout for the shoulders by the time we got back. Tom also took some excellent photos which he sent to us shortly after the session finished. You can’t book the weather in Wales but we were lucky and the sun shone all day. Rain or shine I’d be happy for a return visit and there’s always a plan B if the weather is too awful.

  Rearranged early evening guided kayaking session booked for two younger adult children, with Tom acting as guide. Kids thoroughly enjoyed the 3 hour relaxed session at the close to a beautifully sunny and calm sea day on the Pembrokeshire coast as a small party of 6 including guide. The guide, Tom was very personable and imparted local history and knowledge during the tour along with some nature interactions and a beach landing which was perfectly balanced to kids needs. Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend. Tom also provided a broad selection of exellent photos from the trip later that evening which ensured the kids were free to "be in the moment" and get the most out of the experience with some cherished memories to take away. Many thanks Tom!
