The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.
The vessels are the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessels are custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms.
Both our locations are minutes from prime fishing grounds 20-40 minutes away depending on which hot spot is producing fish catches.
The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Two half day excursion departing daily. No reservations necessary. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

3.00I had 4 large fish cut my line 4 times. Either the test line was to light weight or the boat crew fail to tie the line properly. Could be wrong, but I do not think so. Beautiful day!

5.00Another great year! Tyler our Captain got us on fish right away. He has been fishing in the area for over 20 years. We caught some great keepers. Mike and Justin our first mates were amazing and kept everyone fishing. We look forward to doing this again next year

5.00This was our first deep sea fishing trip, we had a good dose of apprehension. But, we were made comfortable by professionals and experienced helpers on board. My wife caught her first fish not only of her life but also among the fellow sailors. Our special thanks to Justin, he understood our fear and joy. Thank you!

5.00I chose Blue Heron from an on-line search because of the location and price. I was with my grand-son for his first deep sea fishing experience. We lucked out!! Easy parking. Simple check in. Private dock. Clean rest rooms and a First Class skipper. The boat was spacious and spick and span. Crew was always there to bate hooks and fix tangles. When we got a fish on the line crew was there to help get it into the boat. We had great fun!!!

5.00Great time and easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Everyone was helpful. Bring food and at least water it 4 hours. Enjoy the boat ride.

5.00Crew was very helpful. Really enjoyed myself was able to catch a 24” Red Weather was raining at first but that didn’t stop the fish from biting.
