5.00Calin provided a very interesting and engaging tour including history and architectural styles of the historical buildings in the old town. Introduction to the traditional food, wine, and beer was delightful and delicious. We would highly recommend Calin and the Oradea food tour.

5.00Calin is very personable and friendly. He gave us a wealth of knowledge so that we could appreciate what we saw and ate and drank all the more. It is a truly unique and must do experience if you want to learn about the people and the history of this lovely city.

5.00Călin was incredible- truly passionate about his city with so much knowledge. He was so kind and genuinely just wonderful to spend the afternoon with, walking around the city, munching on delicious traditional foods, wines, beers and desserts together. We learned a lot and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Oradea!

5.00Our guide Calin was very knowledgeable about Oradea and we learned so much more about its history and culture. The food and wines were local and traditional and we were introduced to the history of the foods and wine. It was a lovely relaxing afternoon and well worth it. I would recommend this trip.

5.00We spent a very nice afternoon walking on the streets of Oradea and tasting local food, coffee and wine. Calin is a very nice host and knows a lot of things and funny stories about his town.

5.00Oradea is an absolutely beautiful city with so much history. I highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your visit, so that you have guidance and input on where to go, what to do, what exactly you are seeing, etc. Calin is an absolutely exceptional guide, and has a wealth of knowledge and information about the city of Oradea. The meet up location was very easy in the town area, and the history shared is impressive. The restaurant visited during the tour provides an extremely impressive amount of food samples, along with a nice array of wines to taste. The information on the wines is also very impressive. A visit to the fortress, along with the desert and probably best coffee I have ever had in my life (not an exaggeration!!) was a wonderful way to wrap up the tour. Calin has had a very extensive career in the food/wine and hospitality industry, and is again, very knowledgeable. His passion for the city in which he lives, as well as his passion to share his knowledge with the city visitors, is very evident. My only regret is that I did not do the tour earlier in my visit to the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

5.00The beautiful city of Oradea has an enthusiastic ambassador in Calin Dobai. His narration was very informative and entertaining. The restaurant picks were awesome- there was so much variety and the quality of food was amazing :)

5.00Calin was an excellent guide. He had a breezy friendly style and was really full of interesting information about the history of Oradea. He engaged my cousin & I on the tour and answered questions as we went along. You won’t be bored and it doesn’t feel like it’s been spouted out out ad verbatim. I was actually quite surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I really feel that we had the lowdown on Oradea and it’s food & wine. Thanks for a very interesting end to my trip.
