Our half day tour start from Suceava or Gura Humorului town and you'll discover the two famous painted Monasteries of Bucovina - UNESCO heritage: HUMOR and VORONET.
At the end of tour we'll drop off you in Suceava or Gura Humorului town.
Upon request, for a private tour we can we can customize schedule to start and finish the trip early.

Humor Monastery
Humor Monastery (1530) is surrounded by beautiful hills covered by forests. It is smaller than the other complexes, with prevailing hues of red-brown and a depiction of the Devil as the 'Scarlet Woman'!
Manastirea Voronet
Voronet Monastery (1488) amazes with its unique blue color, obtained from lapis lazuli, known as Voronet blue. Voronet has been called the Sistine Chapel of the Orient, and once you see these magnificent "Last Judgment" Frescos, you will fully understand why. Also here is the biggest place for shopping for local souvenirs like carpets, traditional clothes, etc.

5.00Without a guide, one cannot understand the deep symbolism of the frescoes on and in the Moldavian monasteries. I can really recommend our guide Sebastian.

5.00Great afternoon out for us. Sebastian collected us from our pick up point and it was a very hot day so it was nice to be in a big air conditioned car. We learned about some history and information on the way to the first painted monument. It was all very interesting. I am not religious but I find all the history and stories very interesting. We wanted to get a nice souvenir from our Romanian holiday which we did also find there which was perfect.

5.00Thank you very much to Sebastian, a wonderful guide and a man. He's got a good command of the material, senses the clients and tailors his story to them. The tour is rich, but not exhausting. Sebastian is polite and very caring.
