Wieliczka Salt Mine
The historic Salt Mine is located about 10 km from Krakow and is on the first UNESCO World Heritage List (1978). The current mine was established ad the turn off 18 and 19 century (though mining history reaches antiquity here). The tourist route goes through the most interesting places in the mine that consists of 22 chambers which are connected by salt pathways of lenght about 3 km. Chambers are located at depth 64 to 135 meters underground.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Salt Mines We were picked up from our hotel promptly at the prearranged time, and the mini bus was clean, modern and comfortable Our driver clearly explained where to go to meet our guide, and where to meet him afterwards for our return journey Would recommend this company

5.00The tour was well organized; the transportation was reliable and clean, and the guides who got us there and back were friendly and courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to visit the salt mine As for the salt mine itself - what an amazing experience! Just thinking about the amazing history and engineering of this place- it’s definitely worth the time. This salt mine is a once in a lifetime kind of place.

5.00Absolutely fabulous, great driver and guide truly unique experience. Please be aware you do need a level of fitness for this trip as there are lots of steps and walking to negotiate. Also when you have finished the tour the coffee is lovely in restaurant but be aware it is a 20 to 25 minute walk to get to lift to the surface

5.00Great experience from start to finish. Thomas picked us up from our hotel and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He stayed with us right up to entering the Saltmine and was outside waiting for us at the end. Would highly recommend.

5.00Had a fantastic day with this company, pick-up from hotel at time stated when booking was made, had time to have breakfast before we went. The driver was great he contacted us on the morning of the trip to confirm time to get us, also sent a pin for going back as they have a designated car park for the Salt Mines, really easy to find. The Salt Mines was fabulous, loads of stairs and walking but was definitely worth it. Would definitely recommend this company, the experience was seamless, couldn't have asked for a better service, I'd definitely use them again 😃👍🏼
