Take off from the heliport to the North East rim of the Haleakala dormant Volcano Crater, fly over the East Maui rainforest to view the waterfalls, coastline and much more. Expert narration is included on Maui helicopter rides.

Weight restrictions: For a single passenger booking weighing 240lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 420lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
We recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.

Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
Helicopter is a shared cabin of 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
No bags allowed on board. This includes purses, fanny packs, backpacks, etc.
Customers must pay for parking with the QR code at the entrance of the heliport. We have the QR code in our office as well. CREDIT CARD ONLY.

5.00We originally booked the Hana Rainforest tour but were rerouted to Molokai and West Maui mountains due to poor visibility and cloud cover on Haleakalā. We were not disappointed at all! The flight was incredible and our pilot was very knowledgeable about the islands. Definitely a bucket list item- I highly recommend this tour with Air Maui!

5.00Great trip. We had to delete the crater due to weather but went over to Molokai instead. Was a great tour. Captain Kirk is the best. Great personality and knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend this tour

5.00Even though we had to do a different route due to weather, it was an amazing experience! The highlight of my trip! Captain Kirk was very knowledgeable about the history and was entertaining. The views were unreal! So worth the money to do this!

5.00Loved this helicopter experience! It was the highlight of my trip to Maui! Christian was our pilot and he was very professional and knowledgeable! My only disappointment was that the camera was not working so I was not able to purchase video of experience. Highly recommended Air Maui for your helicopter experience!

5.00The cloud cover over the volcano prevented us from going there, but our brilliant pilot took us along the Maui coast and over to the spectacular cliffs and waterfalls of Molokai, commenting with clarity and authority on all we were seeing. A++

5.00Capt. Kirk was great, he was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we were all comfortable and having a great time. The views and sights on the 60 minute tour were absolutely breathtaking. Nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend.

5.00My wife and I were on our honeymoon in Maui and chose this particular tour based on reviews. We came over from The United Kingdom and we’d never been to Hawaii before. Although we had a hire car, we decided not to drive the road to Hāna and instead join a tour so we could really take it all in without the hassle of navigating the roads. First and foremost, the sights and experiences on the tour were truly amazing. The organisation of the trip was excellent. We had so much fun! All the stops along the way were all just perfect. However what truly made the day was our tour guide; Marty. Marty made an effort to ensure everyone was included in the group and made everyone feel welcome. He was very knowledgeable about his tour and provided facts and stories during the day. But what stood out to us was how he genuinely cared about his guests. He, somehow, remembered everyone’s names from the start! He went out of his way to ensure we all had enough water, juices, snacks etc throughout the trip. He ran a great tour by ensuring we all knew what time to be back at the van, the best things to do at each stop, etc. But Marty never left us! He was helping people in and out of the water, taking photos, even informing us of which rocks may be slightly slippy. Marty made a special effort with us and took so many photos of us, referring to us as the newly weds! We really felt so welcome on Maui. You can just tell the type of guy Marty is even by the way he looked out for other tour guides, shop workers, and other tourists at the stops and en route along the road! Thanks so much Marty.. you’re a huge credit to this company!
