The Heineken Experience is a brand experience located in Heineken®’s oldest brewery in the heart of Amsterdam. The brewery closed in 1988, and today, this historic building offers a unique venue where guests can learn all about Heineken®.
Discover the history of the HEINEKEN Company, the brewing process, a tasting room and the Heineken® brand. Conclude the tour by enjoying 2 Heinekens and learn about the best way to taste and enjoy your Heineken® beer.
With a Heineken® Tour + rooftop ticket, you start with the 1.5-hour self-guided Heineken® tour. Afterwards, you can access the rooftop bar and terrace, which hosts Heineken's creative innovation hub, Heineken Studio, where you can explore the future of brewing innovation. Here, Heineken® crafts groundbreaking beer experiments, products, concepts, and experiences that push the boundaries of brewing. Above all, you can relax with your drink while taking in one of Amsterdam’s most breathtaking views from the exclusive roof terrace.

Heineken Experience
The Heineken Experience is housed in the first built Heineken brewery in the city centre of Amsterdam. In 1988 the brewery closed due to inability to cover high demand and since 1991 it has been welcoming visitors from all over the world. Now, it is a guided journey through the world of Heineken®. You can discover the history of the HEINEKEN Company, the 4 natural ingredients of our beer, the brewing process, a tasting room, the Heineken® brand and the partnerships with UEFA Champions League and James Bond. And of course at the end of the tour you can enjoy 2 Heinekens or learn how draught the perfect Heineken®. The Heineken Experience is a guided tour in English. It is also possible to download the Heineken Experience app in 9 different languages. There are also tablets for rent that feature the app.

5.00The Heineken Experience was a fantastic attraction and definitely worth visiting while in Amsterdam. The interactive exhibits were engaging, the history of the brand was presented in an interesting way, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the tour. I especially enjoyed the immersive activities and the opportunity to learn about the brewing process. The included drinks at the end were a great bonus and helped create a fun atmosphere. Overall, it was a well-organized, entertaining, and memorable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

5.00I’ve been to many brewery tours but this one was by far the most interesting. They have the stories and the beginning ofcourse but then it is modern with immersive rooms and great visual storytelling. The rooftop is fine, not sure it’s very worth it but it comes with an extra drink!

2.00We visited on 10/06 on the 5:15 slot. We were told to go at our own pace and that it would take an hour and a half to make our way round. At about 6:30 we were all told to leave so we ended up missing a few of the last rooms which upset me because they looked very fun. Online it states it closes at 7:30 so this is unfair as we paid to see it all and got kicked out early. On top of this we saw people pouring their own beer so we went over just for the woman to say it’s closed now. About 5 minutes later she lets another man pour his own beer after telling us we couldn’t. We were having a nice time up until this point and now we were too frustrated so we left.
