  What a fun time we had. Perhaps too much information to take in all at once especially with her Scottish accent but Katie,s enthusiasm and passion are unmistakable. Definitely the best whiskey/spirits tasting we,ve ever been on. Congratulations to Raer for a brilliant transformation and repurposing of buildings.. and stunning whiskeys too.   This is a brilliant place. So lovely and Katie is the best. Gave us a fab recipe for cocktail for people who want to love whiskey. Would 100% recommend.

  ​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic Tour – Ask for Katie! ​If you are thinking about visiting the Jackton Distillery, stop thinking and just book it! We had an incredible time from start to finish, and a massive shoutout has to go to our tour guide, Katie. ​Katie was an absolute powerhouse—full of energy, incredibly engaging, and so knowledgeable about the entire distilling process. She didn't just rattle off facts; she brought the history and the craft to life, making it brilliant fun for everyone in the group. You can tell she is genuinely passionate about what she does. ​The distillery itself in East Kilbride is beautiful, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the spirits are top-tier. But it’s the people that make the experience, and Katie truly made our day. ​Highly, highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

  My son was home from Australia for a visit and I decided to book my husband and him a tour.they Loved it. Very informative, very interesting and they enjoyed the tasting at the end of the distillery tour. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

• A Terrific Distillery With Some Unique Aspects Worth Seeing

  Very interesting distillery for sure. The welcome/visitors' center is very well appointed and roomy. The tour guide Katie O'Brien was terrific. I mentioned that I was taking a Scotch Whisky exam in October and she sent me over some very helpful study materials on techniques of tastings. That was really quite nice. The stills there are very different looking from the traditional stills you see at other distilleries. Made by Kothe in Germany. And the use of Chambord casks is very interesting.   Stayed in brand new accommodation which was just so good. Tour was in depth and yet captivating. The whisky is pretty good, too 🙂. And after the plentiful tasting we just walked across the yard to our accommodation. Perfect!

  

• Fascinating tour of state of the art new distillery

  Our small group tour last Friday afternoon was excellent! Katie was warm and welcoming, and extremely knowledgable about all aspects of the distillery. She also brought in her colleagues as they were passing to add extra detail on their areas of specialism, which added variety helped maintain interest throughout the 90 minutes. We really enjoyed our tasting - one of us opted for the vodka & gins and the other the whiskies, so we were able to sample everything on offer. We were fortunate to be doing the tour during Cocktails week, so we decided to stay on for cocktails and to enjoy the live music and pasta truck! We were staying in Eaglesham, which is about 1.3 miles down the road and walkable in 30 minutes.

  

  

  

• Tour of Jackton Distillery

  Excellent tour and not what I had anticipated - Jackton is a relatively new distillery and as such doesn't have the history of the older more traditional distilleries - however a new distillery allows a fresh approach to the tour and Katie spent a lot of time with our small group. I was impressed by how open the distillery to questions and even allowed some photographs. The tasting was first class - so good that we decided to stay a little longer and enjoy even more of the whisky on offer. Jackton hope to have their first single malt later in the year so we'll be back for that I'm sure.

  Received gift voucher for tour and stay, excellent idea staying on site. Made very welcome by very friendly andinformative staff. Lovely bar area to relax in after the tasting too. Just coffees and crisps for snacks but the town is just 2 miles away if you need more. We came prepared. Just a wee thing that would improve the accommodation is a coffee table of sorts. For drinks and food as well as cards etc.
