We enjoyed our Kanazawa tour very much. We toured the samurai district and the castle park, and had a short stop for a mochi snack when we got hungry. We learned a lot about the interesting history of the area. Our tour guide, Reiko, was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and flexible.

Or first night in Kanazawa was a truly special moment during our visit to Japan. We were fortunate enough to be able to not only tour the Geisha district with our amazing guide Nozomi, but to spend an evening with Geiko. The hospitality, conversation and art were truly an experience unlike any other and something my family and I will remember fondly. Nozomi's energy made the evening that much more unforgettable and I am thankful we had such a friendly and spirited facilitator and guide for the evening. If you are able to arrange such a unique experience, I highly recommend it. It really is a rare opportunity. Thank you to Nozomi and Kanazawa Tours.

Yoshiko Oigawa was an excellent guide in Kanazawa, taking us through the Garden and Castle. Her English was excellent, and she provided us many insights for the garden and castle. We definitely enjoyed our time with her in Kanazawa.

We were booked on a flexible itinerary, 4-hour tour in Kanazawa. Saya was our guide. She was punctual, very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient, happy to accommodate our request to visit Kenroku-en garden and Kanazawa Castle at a very slow pace. I mentioned that I’d been looking for a particular Japanese cosmetic and that my husband and I wanted to visit a supermarket where we could purchase takeaway lunch. Saya worked a stop at a department store that had both into our allotted time, which helped us enormously!

We saw houses of former Samurai which were very interesting and had an in depth visit to a workshop where kimonos were made. They were very unique and special experiences. I would highly recommend this guide.

Our morning artisan guided tour of Kanazawa from Kanazawa Tours was first class. Sachiko, our tour guide was excellent. Our tour consisted of a fascinating tour of the samurai district and a visit to Kanazawa family run workshop specialising in textile dyeing using traditional methods - the family business has been running for more than 250 years. We really enjoyed talking with Sachiko. She is fluent on English ; very knowledgeable; provided interesting insights which added to our previous experience and ; had a great and respectful rapport with the artisan. I wholeheartedly recommend Sachiko and Kanazawa Tours.

We had a very special morning with Reiko, who showed us the Kenroku-en garden and took us to a wonderful tea ceremony. Rain was pouring but that did in no way diminish the joy and the fun we had in our meeting. Ishigo ishie, thank you Reiko.
