Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square built in the 16th century used to be a royal palace of the Malla and Shan dynasties. To the south, you'll see Basantapur Durbar Square and in the north is Basantapur Durbar. In the west, there are temples of gods and goddesses. In Kathmandu Durbar Square, you'll visit Kal Bhairav Temple, Taleju Temple, Kumari Bahal, Swet Bhirav Temple, Akash Bhirav Temple, and Shiv-Parvati Temple, to name some. Kumari Bahal is the temple of the living goddess of Nepal. Tourists form a queue to get a glimpse of the living goddess.
Swaymbhunath
Swayambhunath Temple, also known as Monkey Temple, is situated northwest of Kathmandu valley. Swayambhu overlooks the Kathmandu valley and presents a panoramic view of the city. Swayambhu means self-existent, and the stupa consists of eyes on all sides, which depicts faith and peace. The temple holds many architectural shrines and monasteries. In the east, you'll see gold-plated Vajra; in the west, you'll see a Buddhist statue. There is a temple of goddess Harati, and it is believed that Goddess Harati was an ogress later converted as Caretaker of all children by Lord Buddha. You'll enjoy the Dewa Dharma Monastery, which consists of Buddha statues and Tibetan paintings.

5.00My experience with ABC Trekking in Nepal was truly unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was well organized, and the entire journey exceeded my expectations. A special thank you to our guide, Raj. He always made sure we were comfortable, safe, and well taken care of. Whether it was adjusting the pace, explaining the surroundings, or helping us during tougher parts of the trek, his dedication really stood out. In addition, Raju and Deepak were also excellent—very supportive, friendly, and always ensuring we were comfortable throughout the trek. The views along the trek were breathtaking, and having such a helpful and experienced guide made the whole experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. I truly appreciated his positive attitude and encouragement—it made a big difference, especially on challenging days. The porters were also amazing and hardworking, and the overall team created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. 5.00I had an amazing experience with Himalayan adventures. Had a small group of 3 but we all got along well and were lead by an amazing guide in Bibek. He made the experience even better than it would have been. I would recommend requesting Bibek for any trek in Nepal. I will be coming back.

5.00Annapurna Circuit Trek with Raj was outstanding. Our 14-day itinerary balanced scenery and safety: Jagat–Taal, Chame, Pisang (upper route via Ghyaru/Ngawal), acclimatization in Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, then an early, steady push over Thorong La (5,416 m) to Muktinath and onward to Jomsom/Pokhara. Raj set a calm, consistent pace, reminded us to hydrate, and did daily altitude checks (sleep, appetite, headache scale). He adjusted breaks and grouping so everyone felt comfortable. Logistics were smooth—clean teahouses, hot drinks at the right moments, reliable transport, and clear Plan B when weather threatened flights. Beyond guiding, Raj shared stories that made the route feel alive. If you value thoughtful pacing, solid risk management, and warm local insight, Raj is an excellent choice for ACT. I finished with happy legs, a full camera roll, and total peace of mind.

5.00We had such an incredible experience with our guide Raj. His knowledge of the trek and the surrounding areas was amazing and his attention to details along the way made the trip so enjoyable. He made us feel safe and taken care of. We really felt like he was an expert at finding the best accommodations and recommended the best food for us to try at every tea house. He even took awesome photos and videos of our family so we have all the memories of our trip to look back on. I would absolutely recommend Raj to anyone who wants to hike anywhere in Nepal especially EBC
