Experience majestic blue pools, stunning, swirling moulins, deep crevasses and dramatic ice formations that continue to fascinate and attract the explorer in all of us when you step foot and trek around the surface of the Knik Glacier. The mighty Knik, one of the largest glaciers left in Southcentral Alaska, is 26 miles in length and 6 miles across at its toe and is just one of several glaciers in the ancient river valley.
In addition to spotting wildlife from the air (moose, dall sheep, spawning salmon, and bears), you’ll have an eagle’s eye view of towering waterfalls, glacial iceberg-filled lakes, and the untouched wilderness of the Alaska backcountry.

CHECK IN TIME is 30 minutes prior to departure time. If you arrive late your excursion may be shortened, cancelled or rescheduled.
Weight limit is 300 pounds per seat. R44 max weight is 650 pounds. R66 max weight is 900 pounds.
Service animals are allowed on a case by case basis. Call to inquire.
Accuratly reporting weight is essential for proper weight and balance of the helicopter. Large discrepancies in reported weights may result in additional fees.
Solo Travelers: Please note that we may reach out to reschedule your time if a 2 person minimum is not met.
WEIGHT SURCHARGES: Groups of 2 over 500lbs, groups of 3 over 650lbs and groups of 4 over 900lbs will be charged a weight surcharge. You can call 907-351-6736 to pay the additional weight surcharge within 48 hours of making the reservation. If weight surcharge not paid, we cannot guarantee extra aircraft will be available and flight may be rescheduled or canceled without a refund.
Groups of 4+ may be split into multiple helicopters
Infants are defined as 0-24 months. Children at or over 24 months will need to be in a paid seat. This is a FAA regulation and not a suggestion

5.00SENSACIONAL, I have no words to describe this tour too beautiful, after research I chose the Outbound agency, which besides the glacial knik, passes also in beautiful valley. The agency is great, the staff responds immediately passes you all the information, our pilot guide was noted 10 at all, very professional the flight was perfect, landed on the glacier in a beautiful place, accompanied us in the exploration of the glacier, no doubt the most beautiful tour I have done, I had the opportunity to do with this agency great super recommend.

5.00Absolutely unbelievable experience! One of the top I’ve had in my lifetime. Laura, our pilot and guide, was terrific! She was skilled at flying and knowledgable about the glacier/area, while at the same time a lot of fun! I was nervous about airsickness, but had no issues at all! Definitely would recommend!

5.00Outstanding, the best helicopter tour I have ever taken. They are friendly, informative, and make sure you are safe and enjoying the experience. I was staying downtown but used Uber to/from the starting point and it worked out well (just make sure to pre-schedule the return ride).
