The cooking venue will be in Musoshin Gion in central Kyoto, not Musoshin Ramen Academy.

Learn the secrets of elite level ramen making at Musoshin’s flagship ramen restaurant in Kyoto. Musoshin is an internationally renowned ramen restaurant with three stores across Kyoto and a Michelin guide recognized Toronto, Canada location. Learn how to make ramen noodles from scratch using a professional noodle-making machine and dough made with two types of flour. Guided by an expert instructor, you’ll pour the water, knead the dough, then roll and cut it into perfectly chewy noodles. This Kyoto shop enhances the experience with high-quality Kyotamba rice and condiments from local makers, offering an authentic regional flavor. The rich, savory broth—made from a blend of vegetables—is prepared by Musoshin’s ramen chef. At the end of the workshop, enjoy a delicious bowl of ramen made by the chef. Please note that, due to limited space, this class can only accommodate a maximum of 6 participants per session. If your group consists of more than 6 people, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

This is a wonderful activity in a part of the restaurant that actually makes Ramen to serve at the restaurant. It is a small facility and we all participated in the Ramen noodle making process. The activity includes lunch and a drink. It says that the activity is one hour, but plan on two hours because you walk around the corner and eat at the restaurant.

Momo and Koki hosted our noodle making class. It was a wonderful experience! The restaurant was easy to find and they were so kind. We had a ball with them learning how to make ramen noodles. Highly recommend this experience!

Excellent hands on ramen making workshop. Small private experience at an authentic small ramen restaurant. My teenage daughters had a lot of fun helping to make the ramen noodles. The instructors were outstanding and very friendly. Lunch was included & delicious. Has Vegan options which was great for us. I highly recommend this workshop.

Azu and Koki were phenomenal instructors. They guided us through every step of the ramen-making process with clear explanations and made the class incredibly enjoyable for my family. Despite our limited experience, they were patient, encouraging, and made the entire experience both fun and engaging.I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

This is a practical hands on experience followed by a meal. I would have loved to know more about the history and significance of the dish. English was adequate to explain ramen making and pronunciation was clear.

Very fun experience to make ramen noodles from scratch. We practiced to fold dough and ramen that was coming from the slicer. It was very interactive
