Touted by most as an “indescribable” experience, watch the water sparkle and dance as it's disturbed. Immerse yourself in nature under a beautiful sky far away from the city. No LED's or man made effects, just the natural phenomenon of bioluminescence in the calm waters of this protected habitat. Without the ability of cameras to capture the effect, this is truly a must see event!!

**Swimming is not mandatory. While it is an option that we highly advise you to take advantage of, no guest is required to swim if they are not comfortable to do so**
**This is not a Kayak Tour. Guests will be transported via motor boat through the protected waters to the best location to see and swim in the bioluminescence**
**Total time on the water is 45 minutes - 1 hour. Guests will be able to swim for 20 minutes**
**Visibility of the bioluminescence will fluctuate with weather, currents, and the moon cycle.**
**All guests pay regular rate regardless of age. The number of participants is monitored by the DRNA and is by seat, not age**

Navigating to the darkest area, you will be able to safely touch, see, and swim in the bioluminescence, or enjoy from the boat. This is without question, the best way to do the bay! Our captain will find the darkest, and most active location, to allow the best visibility and interaction!

5.00The experience itself did feel short, but I would have stayed in the bay for hours if I could. We were part of a bigger tour group that got split onto 2 boats, a smaller boat and a bigger boat. We got onto the smaller boat, and thankfully it worked out that way, because our tour guide told us the group on the bigger boat would not be able to swim in the bay. We would have been VERY disappointed if that was the case for us, but it wasn’t. We traveled with a 9 y.o., a 7 y.o., and a 3 y.o., they all went in the bay and LOVED the experience. We brought our own swimmies because the younger 2 did not do well with life jackets provided on other excursions. I definitely would recommend this excursion and would do it again if I could. We Loved it!

5.00I had a great time going with this company (Caribbean breeze adventures) I was late for the check in and then when we arrived they let us in and they waited on my lil kid to use the bathroom, they're very friendly and nice. we had a great time me and my kids and it was an amazing experience! thank you fr all the staff and organizers.

3.00Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with this tour. We had done a bioluminescent bay tour with another company last November (which we thought we had booked again), so we had a good point of comparison. Our tour was scheduled to depart at 7:15 p.m., and I completely understand waiting a little longer until it was dark enough to see the bioluminescence. However, that delay ultimately came out of the guests' swim time instead of extending the overall tour. There were two boats on our trip. We were fortunate to be on the first boat and had about 10 minutes in the water. The second boat arrived after us and, from what we observed, only had about 5 minutes to swim before everyone had to head back. For the price of the tickets, I expected a much better experience. Had we driven all the way from San Juan specifically for this tour, I would have been even more disappointed. The bioluminescence itself was beautiful, but the limited time in the water made the experience feel rushed and not a good value.

5.00Headed to the bioluminescent bay and it did not disappoint Our boat captain was very informative and the water was warm. Only downside was the almost full moon which dulled the experience but we were still able to see the glow. Can’t control the moon phases! Would definitely recommend.

3.00The tour we booked asked us to be there early (7:15pm) however we didn’t board a boat until almost 8pm. The boat was a bit run down and our driver wasn’t super interactive however the experience being in the water with the bioluminescence was awesome though not long enough.
