In the heart of the Alps, we will visit one of the largest natural attractions in Slovenia - Lake Bled. Besides the blue-green water, we will be able to admire also the picturesque architecture of the Bled castle, which is built atop a cliff that rises above the lake. It is possible to reach the unique island in the middle of the lake with the traditional Pletna boat. There, we will climb up the 99 stone-step staircase to the church and ring the wishing bell. Alternatively, you can decide for a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore, enjoying some of the most spectacular views of this picturesque lake.

Lake Bled
A leisurely walk along the lake's most picturesque parts, where breathtaking views await at every turn. Note: If you do not choose any of the optional activities below (Bled Castle or traditional Pletna boat ride), you'll have free time (2 hours more) to enjoy a lakeside walk, a brief hike, a refreshing swim, and indulge in a delicious cream cake.

Excellent Tour, Great Company and an Amazing Guide!

5.00This tour to Lake Bled exceeded all my expectations. The groups are exceptionally small, with a maximum of only 8 people, so it felt almost like a semi-private tour. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and happy to answer all our questions. We got to see everything there is to see in Bled, and the itinerary was perfectly organized. There was enough time to enjoy each location without feeling rushed, while still covering all the highlights. I truly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Slovenia. The small group size, excellent guide, and well-planned itinerary made it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

5.00We had a fantastic day in Bled thanks to the great organization and the friendly guide. The itinerary was well planned, allowing us to see all the main attractions without feeling rushed, while also avoiding the busiest times. There was enough time to visit the castle, take a traditional boat to the island, and enjoy a relaxing walk around the lake. The stunning views made the experience even more memorable. A nice extra touch was the complimentary cream cake and coffee at the castle, which we really appreciated. All in all, it was a wonderful and hassle-free trip that I would gladly recommend to anyone visiting Bled.

5.00An absolutely wonderful trip with excellent organization and a very friendly guide. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we managed to avoid the biggest crowds, which made the experience even more enjoyable. At the destination, there was plenty of time for all activities – visiting Bled Castle, taking a boat ride to the island, and also enjoying free time for a walk around the lake and taking in the beautiful scenery. A special praise to the agency for a lovely gesture. We received a free cream cake and coffee at the castle, which was a very nice surprise and a great addition to an already fantastic day. Overall, a truly beautiful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a well-organized and stress-free visit to Bled.

5.00This was a wonderful trip to Lake Bled! Our guide was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and interactive with our group. The entire day was well orchestrated with great views of the lake and fun activities throughout the trip! I would highly recommend this tour to everyone!

5.00David our guide was great. History of the area given with some fun. Highly recommend this tour. We arrived before the big buses of tourists and felt as David said, King & Queen of the Castle. The cream cake, coffee, lemonade or iced tea were a bonus at the castle. Then the boat ride to the only island in Slovenia on one of the 26 Pletna boats mastered by an Olympic medalist (1972) 82 years young. The cat fish in the lake are huge and a bonus walk along the promenade fabulous. Perfect weather. Great day.

Underwhelming trip to Lake Bled

3.00Average tour. The destination is beautiful but we felt the structure of the morning was poor. The driver was very pleasant and gave a bit of a commentary on the way to Lake Bled. However we were in the back seat and couldn’t hear properly. He needed a microphone. First stop was the castle for the view. This required an additional payment of €20 each which included a coffee and cake. Didn’t really need a slice of rich cake just after breakfast ! Next stop was the lake shore to take an optional trip out to the island for a further €17. We’d heard it wasn’t worth going so elected to walk the 6km around the lake which we really enjoyed. On the way we passed a path up to the castle, which I’m sure would have provided great views across the lake rather than going into the castle itself. We got back to the minibus when it was time to leave, and were driven back to our starting point at French Revolution Square where we had planned to have lunch at the Le Petite Cafe ( a fantastic venue). The driver was obviously running behind time and asked if we’d mind being dropped in the city. We declined as we had organised to have lunch, and our accommodation was nearby. So unfortunately we can’t rate this too highly. You can get a bus to Bled from the bus station and do this yourself for a fraction of the cost.
