  We started our holiday with a cruise trip with Arto, a beautiful 3 hour lake cruise searching for the iconic Saimaa seals. Together with 2 German guests and us 4 as a family from Holland, we enjoyed the stunning sites and the stories and knowledge of Arto while we cruise. We were very lucky to have seen 5/6 Saimaa seals this evening! It was a beautiful spring evening and an amazing start to see what Finland has to offer. Thank you again, Arto!   Excellent experience! I would warmly recommend this tour for both local people in Finland as well as for tourists visiting Finland. The guide Arto was exceptional in making my 4-year old child feel seen and welcomed in the tour. Very nicely put together and an eye for the detail with souvenirs and lovely coffee moment! A must if you are visiting eastern Finland!

  The Saimaa ring seal cruise was just great. I have visited lake Saimaa for decades but I have never a Saimaa ring seal away from the water. The guide Arto really had a lot of knowledge of nature, and the boat was steady and quiet. We saw three seals, osprey, swans and black grouses. Truly a cruise to remember and highly recommended!

  Good mix of experience being on Saimaa-lake and interesting stories about nature and Finnish culture. We saw thousands of tree trunks, to be transported from north to south on the lake, impressive! Happy to see young ospreys too. Excellent excursion.

  Superb Walk in a Friendly and International Mood with Lithuanians, Germans, French and Finns We have learned a lot about seals but also about Finland Tea and Coffee Cakes and more Song Too bad we didn't see seals that night. Thank you for a wonderful evening

  This experience was amazing! The guide is very knowledgable and can tell you so much about the region and the seals and even further from that about Finnish culture. Unfortunately we booked a time where the seals weren't very active above the water so we couldn't spot any, but still it felt like we saw them as Arto had many pictures and videos and stories to tell. I would highly recommend, but maybe book another time in early summer/spring or late summer should be best.

  Fun, Intrestant , Humorous , Relaxing I can only recommend the tour, the guide knows a lot about the lake and nature.

  Wonderful tour. Arto really made an effort and even explained everything in German. We did see seals and on top got homemade sweets, tea and Arto’s Stories. 100% recommend

  Thank you Arto for this beautiful cruise.We did not see seals but we had a great evening. Thank you also for all the translation of your explanations in French and the small cafe...a cruise that we recommend for everyone!!!
