Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Every tour is unique and space is limited, making this Juneau’s most exciting and sought-after adventure tour.

5.00This is a great tour. Unbelievable scenery. Very beautiful. We really enjoyed canoeing across Mendenhall Lake. Our tour guides were Elymus and Brady and they were awesome. Great guides, very knowledgeable about the area and they were also hilarious. Lots of fun. Great tour. Highly recommend

5.00Tour guides Elymus and Brady were fantastic at explaining environmental features around the tour. They were brilliant with keeping things engaging with humor and entertainment. Their greatest achievement was expertly allowing me to retain these interesting bits of information while the group continued with at times physically exhausting activity. The views were stunning, nature amazing, and tour guides great.

5.00This trip was TRULY AMAZING and the highlight of our Alaska cruise trip! My kids and I have not stopped talking about it. Our guides Sophie and Hannah were the best. Hannah regaled us with dad jokes, knowledge of Alaska and encouragement as she steered us in the canoe and Sophie eagerly shared her knowledge of rock formations and the ecosystem as we moved through the landscape. It was a fierce canoeing effort that left our family tired but we found it all well worth it! They were also VERY time sensitive and got us back EXACTLY on time to catch our cruise ship. It was definitely a core memory for our kids.

5.00Our trip was a last minute impulse decision. Soooo glad we did it!! We canoed back and forth to the glacier over 6 miles and every minute was worth it then trekked up to view the glacier. So stunning!!! Our guides Courtland & Sophie were outstanding, full of knowledge, fun & personable. Thank you for making this excursion a memory that will last a lifetime! 5.00We had an excellent time on our glacier adventure tour with Tor & Sophie. This tour was one of the best excursions we had on our Alaska trip. Our arms and back definitely got a workout but it was well worth the effort. Being able to do something memorable with family during a once in a lifetime trip was the greatest thing we could have ever asked for.

5.00This tour was a huge highlight of our time in Alaska. We decided to book this tour instead of going through the cruise line and I'm so glad we did. We are not experienced with canoeing or hiking but had no issues with either. We couldn't have gotten any closer to the Mendenhall Glacier than we did with this tour. The views we got canoeing and hiking were absolutely incredible. We made such good time we even got to row right next to Nugget Falls. Our guides, Cortland and Elisha, were so much fun and made our time even more exciting and informative. They have such a great sense of humor that kept the mood light and fun the entire time. The entire tour from start to finish was so well planned and executed. We are so thankful for this core memory on our trip!
