This was a great experience. Audrey and Stevenson do a great job teaching us Polynesian customs and cooking. They harvested the foods straight from the onsite garden and obtained the fish from a local fisherman. The foods were traditional, very different and excellent. Definately a great way to spend a morning that ends with a delicious lunch.

We had an amazing time cooking with Havaiki at her beautiful home on Mo’orea. The kitchen and gardens are dreamy and she is the perfect hostess and a fabulous cook! Highly recommended for an unforgettable Tahitian experience, and a delicious lunch!

What an experience! Our family of four (with two, water sports-obsessed teenage boys) took a cooking class with Havaiki, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to Moorea. From the moment we arrived, the space was beautiful and welcoming, and Havaiki was an incredible host—so warm, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all our questions. We learned a lot about Polynesian culture and food, and picked up some cooking skills. Best of all, it was a special bonding experience for our family—one of those rare activities everyone truly enjoyed together. If you’re looking for something meaningful, fun, and super delicious, don’t miss this. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

What a gem of an experience! This was an intimate experience where we learned how to make a Tahitian dish (poisson cru) with guidance from Havaiki. Very hands on, ingredients were fresh and the results were delicious. While we scuba dived, snorkelled and enjoyed other excursions here in Mo’orea, this one tops it all because of how unique, warm and engaging it was. This experience really adds character and color to our travel and it’ll be the one we remember for a long time. Highly recommend anyone to sign up for this. You will not be disappointed.

Havaiki is a gentle, warm and passionate person, who welcomed us in his beautiful home. We cooked Tahitian raw fish with local ingredients, in a Mood that was both friendly and soothing. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we leave with lots of flavors, smiles... and the desire to do everything again at home! Thank you for this great time ✨🍍🥥

Fantastic experience today during Havaiki’s cooking class! We loved every minute of it: it was super hands-on, all the ingredients were local & fresh and we got to try so many unique dishes. Her explanations and directions were clear and the property is beautiful.

I had a truly wonderful time at this cooking class in Mo'orea. Possibly the highlight of my entire trip, even more than swimming with stingrays, spotting an octopus in the wild, or watching the sunset from a mountain. Audrey, Anata, and Stevenson are a heartwarming and welcoming family. The class wasn’t just about food, it was about connection to culture and each other. Their passion for sustainable farming and commitment to providing affordable organic produce to their community was inspiring. If you're looking for something authentic and deeply memorable, this cooking class is a must. I left feeling nourished in every sense of the word.

ia Orana! Definitely a highlight of our Moorea trip! Havaiki was such a gracious host, she created a beautiful Tahitian menu for us to make in her beautifully decorated bungalow…I thought I was in a Martha Stewart magazine! The lunch we made used the freshest ingredients, taught me new ways to prepare pineapple and introduced me to Tahitian food and culture. I would highly recommend AtunuMai Moorea culinary class, it was the best way to immerse ourselves in Moorea.

Havaiki was absolutely wonderful. The menu she prepared was perfectly Tahitian. We learned to make our own coconut milk, poisson cru, and more. Her cooking studio was so clean and inviting and beautifully decorated. She was the perfect host. This class was my favorite activity on the island, I can't wait to get back to California and make my own coconut milk with my new kitchen tool! Thank you, Havaiki!

We had such a fabulous time with Havaiki at her lovely home. The space was stylish, bright and airy – I was amazed at how lovely of an environment she had curated. Her cooking class was an incredible cultural experience, learning about Tahitian cuisine and authentic methods of preparation for each dish. The experience was great for my whole family – comprised of adults and seniors. And the food! The food we made was incredible. I can't wait to try to recreate the dishes at home. Havaiki was easy to understand and fluent in English; she tailored her instructions to our varied level of experience in the group. Absolutely would recommend booking this class for the authenticity, the food, and for a lovely experience you won't soon forget.
