5.00Saif Al aghbari - Senior General Tour Guide!! He was absolutely the best guide we could have had. He knew all the best times to travel to Niswah, market, souk bought incense, saffron , looked at the fort. Then Al Jabal Al Akyar - green mountain up high 2500m !! He knew exactly where to take us for the best views across ancient Oman and its intertwined villages, water courses and terraced rose gardens growing in the oasis . It was truly beautiful. Our lunch was amazing too then we travelled to see other ancient sites, water courses that feed from underground. Our day was so good that we decided to do a longer trip with Saif . This proved to be our best day. Sunday 15th 9:40 start. Grand mosque - Saif provided what I needed to wear and knew the best time for women to enter the mosque. He took pictures for us and told us about the mosque with its immense beauty. He knew exactly which wadi to go to Wadi al rahabeen. Then we travelled to old Bamah sink hole where we swam then another swim spot - white sand beach. He drove us to Sur, Ras Al Had / eastern most point of Arabia where Oman sea and Arabian meet, where prayers for Ramadan start. Finally we saw the turtles at Ras Al Jinz - turtle place. Green turtles 🐢 x 15. Had dinner we had king fish with tomato dip and chips before the turtles Then home at 00:20!! The whole time we were with Saif he kept us hydrated, clean , gave us snacks, gave us presents from his family, cool in his wonderful Toyota SUV , helped us with dress codes , timings and comfort breaks . As he is an army veteran he knew every last detail of Oman’s history, social structure, development and landmarks. His knowledge of the landscape was also second to none. He drove us carefully and safely all day , chatting in perfect English about the landscape and interesting facts about Oman. There was never a dull moment!! Given the situation at the time of the wars in this part of their world, we both felt completely safe with Saif!! We concluded that Oman is a wonderful place to visit ; the people are wonderful and their hospitality is second to none. We had wonderful food that catered for vegetarian and gluten free too. Book Saif if you are lucky enough!!

5.00Great experience with Mohammed, he was ready for pick up very early and was in constant communication with me the whole time. As soon as I arrived had taken my bags straight to the car. Was a great drive and very insightful along the way spoke about Omani culture and landmarks. Very professional throughout whole experience.

5.00We took night city tour with guide Mohamed, he brought us to Mutarh in the sunset time. It was very beautiful from Mutrah fort. He was very good cameraman and friendly. We enjoyed our evening with him.

5.00We had a great time touring the city of Muscat for 4 hours. Special thanks to our tour guide/driver Mohamed! He was very nice, friendly, and flexible. He took us to all the places we asked for and helped us take great pictures too! Definitely recommend for any kind of groups!
