Ulun Danu Bratan
Ulun Danu Bratan temple is both a famous picture land mark and significant temple complex located on the west side of the Bratan lake in Bedugul central Bali. Ulun Danu Bratan, literally the source temple of lake Bratan is easily the island most iconic sanctuary sharing the scenic quality with sea side temple. The temple was build in 17th century in work ship of the main Hindu trinity Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva as well as goddess Dewi Danu. The sight and cool atmosphere of the Bali uplands have made the lake and the temple a favorite sightseeing and recreational spot as well as a frequently photo graphed side.

5.00My mum and I had an absolutely wonderful time on the North Bali Private Tour. If you are considering booking this experience, do not hesitate! Our tour guide, Osa, made the day truly special. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we both had a fantastic time. We were particularly impressed by his deep knowledge of local plants, agriculture, and farming practices. Learning about the native flora added a rich, educational layer to the beautiful sights we visited. Osa is a fantastic guide who is genuinely passionate about sharing his culture and island with visitors. He is brilliant at his job, and we highly recommend requesting him for your trip. 5.00We enjoyed the day with our guide Osa. He’s a great driver and knowledgeable about the areas temples and other sites. In addition, he talked about local life in Indonesia. Topping it off he’s just a very nice person! I doubt we could have found a better guide for our day in the north!

5.00We had a private tour from Lovina to Ubud. Osa as our Tour guide was awesome. In addition to being our private driver, he provided us with a lot of interesting facts on the places we've visited as well as on Balinese culture und way of life. He also took a lot of great photos from us.

5.00I had a private tour with Agung. He was friendly and open for suggestions. Agung show good dining place in Ubud. Water was provided. I heard a few interesting stories about agricultural topics. Agung can help in making nice photos. I would recommend him for a solo, seniors, couples or family trip. However, it might be worth considering to switch Puru Ulun Danu with some other temple. I find the place itself slightly overhyped, looks smaller in real life. I enjoyed more other landmarks like waterfall or rice fields

5.00We were 3 couples interested who were interested in a curated tour without the mandatory stops at tourist shops. Our driver and guide Ketut Suwenda was excellent in making sure we were not rushed and made sure we appreciated the sights along the way. Anyone looking for a tour guide with a great sense of humor and knowledge of the sites, Ketut is your man.

5.00I did this solo with the guide Komang Boli. He was extremely knowledgeable and flexible for my needs and helped me to take great photos. He provided lots of interesting information about Balinese culture as well as his personal experiences. The drive is a little long, but worth it to see such scenic places. Price is good for a solo traveller for what is essentially a private tour.

5.00I was fortunate enough to have done some tours with Ketut when I came to Bali in 2018 so I knew that if I ever came back to Bali, there was only one company I wanted to tour with again, and I was so pleased Ketut had availability. My partner and I did the North Bali tour with Ketut in September 2025. From the initial enquiry, communication was clear and booking was easy. I’m not a great passenger, but I always felt comfortable and safe with Ketut driving. The tour was wonderful, and we really enjoyed seeing the central highlands of Bali. The scenery was spectacular and we thought the tour was well paced. Walking through the lush green rice terraces was one of the highlights for us. Another highlight was just how much we learnt from Ketut along the way. As well as being a great guide, he was so kind in sharing his knowledge, and was always happy to answer our questions. Ketut is a lovely person to be around and it was a brilliant day. We would highly recommend this tour and the company. Thank you Ketut for another wonderful tour, you helped make our trip memorable.
