Move through four wellness environments at your own pace during your 2.5-hour session: the heated swimming pool and contrast plunge pools, three distinct heat sanctuaries (dry sauna, infrared sauna, and eucalyptus steam room), a restorative lounge with unlimited herbal tea and light snacks, and a fully equipped gym. Every visit includes a dedicated locker and unlimited fresh towels — just bring a swimsuit and flip-flops.

Arrival & Orientation: Check in for your locker assignment and a quick facility walkthrough. Change into swimwear (flip-flops required, available for purchase) and collect fresh towels. Thermal Pool Circuit: Cycle at your own pace through the heated pool, the tension-relieving hot plunge, and the invigorating cold plunge to promote deep recovery. Heat Sanctuary: Enjoy unlimited access to three distinct heat experiences: the traditional dry sauna, the restorative infrared sauna, and the hydrating eucalyptus steam room. Lounge & Recovery: Decompress in the quiet lounge wrapped in soft towels. Enjoy unlimited herbal tea, water, and complimentary light snacks. Gym & Smoothie Bar: Access the fully equipped gym at any point during your session, then refresh with a nutrient-dense beverage from the in-house Smoothie Spa.

5.00My visit to Las Ruinas Bathhouse was one of the highlights of my trip to Puerto Rico. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt incredibly relaxing and thoughtfully curated. The combination of the historic surroundings, beautiful design, and tranquil spa experience created the perfect escape.

5.00After traveling through all of Puerto Rico for approximately three weeks, this was the pause, reset and reinvigoration my wife and I needed! We have lived in Miami for the last couple of years and visit some of the nicest spas in the city. Las Ruinas was a welcome home lux-spa feeling while being in Puerto Rico. The staff is impeccably friendly and professional, the venue has an incredibly beautiful rustic old world charm combined with top notch amenities, including - sauna, infrared sauna, cold plunge, swimming pool, gym, and more. We are considering moving to Puerto Rico and are actually considering Old San Juan because of this bathhouse alone! I can't recommend it enough to anyone and everyone - go, unwind and enjoy!

5.00Definitely recommend! This place was a little bit of everything. If you are into fitness or just want to detox, relax in a sauna and or the pools. There is a hot tub, a cold plunge (did it for the first time 🥶 but felt great) there is also a pool a normal temperature for you to relax and chat it up if you are with friends. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Gym is clean and organized with free weights and machines. You also can take a Mat out side the gym and do some yoga etc. The gym has cucumber water so you stay refreshed. The locker room, bathroom and shower are clean and have little amenities for you to use. Please be respectful and only take photos where they allow you too. They have some comfy lounge areas. (Don’t forget to bring slippers, floors are wet and slippery.) They do sell slippers for $10 Smoothie time! The smoothies were delicious. And they have a few to choose from. You can also get a healthy shot (Ginger shot was deliciously spicy) I hope you get a chance to experience this beautiful place right in Old San Juan.

5.00The perfect way to start off vacation and unwind from work stress. Cycled through infrared sauna and steam room, cold plunge, then float in the mineral water pool. Did this multiple times and they have free cold water & popsicles, and teas. Absolutely relaxing & very clean facility. I should have went to the gym here instead of the hotel gym. That Was very nice with modern equipment but I didn’t take advantage. Friendly and helpful staff, unlimited towels and just a beautiful time in an old world style building. Finished with a delicious healthy drink at the smoothie bar. Can’t wait to return. 12/10 recommend.
