The North of Ireland has become famous for the murals painted in almost every area of the country . These pictures of IRA ,UVF murals are often flashed around the world on news bulletins or used as a backdrop when interviewing people. They often depict the history and political views of both traditions and are a way of marking territory. These wall paintings often look intimidating but they have become as much of a tourist attraction as many of the regular attractions within Belfast and beyond.

The entire tour was accompanied by well-founded and impartial explanations based on real lived experiences. I considered this guided tour to be the highlight of my trip to the incredibly interesting city of Belfast.

5.00During a short break in Belfast with my sister we booked a political taxi tour with Steven as our guide. He was very knowledgeable of Belfast's history and troubles, had many stories to tell, giving us a balanced view of life on both sides of the wall. A complex situation indeed. Stephen had a friendly manner and I would highly recommend a tour with him. Thank you.

5.00Incredible tour with a knowledgeable guide whose insight and compassion made this an unforgettable experience. Learn the history from a local who saw things first hand. A must do for any trip to Belfast; I found the tour so moving in its nuance, sensitivity, and ultimately, relevance.

2.00There was a rally going on near our pick up point. They never contacted us or suggested that we move our pick up location. We could have been picked up two blocks away. This is a highlight tour. We were able to contact another guide. He was great and one third the price. The only reason I am giving two stars is that our money was reimbursed immediately.
