Pedra Bonita
In this experience we will hike in the tropical forest of the Tijuca National Park to reach one of the most stunning viewpoints of the city from the top of Pedra Bonita Hill. We will meet and drive towards Sao Conrado neighbourhood and park in the Pedra Bonita's trail entrance. From there we will hike for 45 minutes and discover the natural beauties of the Atlantic Rain Forest. Learn and observe the flora and with luck, we might encounter some of the wild life, like monkeys and toucans. Once we reach the top of its 696m, we will stay and relax to enjoy the incredible views. We will be able to see the vast extension of the Tijuca National Park, Sao Conrado Beach, Barra beach and the incredible Pedra da Gavea, the largest monolitic block in the shore of Rio.
Rampa Pedra Bonita
After enjoying the peak of Pedra Bonita, we will go down the trail and visit the take-off ramp, where paragliders and hang gliders put on their show.

5.00I had an amazing experience on the Pedra Bonita and Chinese View tour with Alessandra. From start to finish, everything was well organized, relaxed, and enjoyable. Alessandra was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about Rio and its natural beauty. The hike to Pedra Bonita was fantastic, manageable, scenic, and absolutely worth it for the breathtaking views at the top. What really made the experience stand out was Alessandra herself. She was knowledgeable, encouraging, and made the whole tour feel personal rather than rushed or generic. She shared interesting local insights, made sure everyone was comfortable, and created a fun atmosphere throughout.

5.00I had such a great experience doing the Pedra Bonita hike with Hike in Rio! The whole trip was incredibly well organized, and the views at the top are absolutely stunning. Alli made the experience even better. She’s amazing, super charismatic, and really knows how to keep the group engaged and comfortable the entire time. What I appreciated most is that even though I’m not the most athletic person, I still had such a great time. The hike felt very doable, and Alli made sure everyone could go at their own pace and enjoy it. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience — I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rio!

5.00Great hiking day with wonderful views, strongly recommended if you visit Rio. Alli was a great guide, matched our pace, took beautiful pictures and explained in detail about Brazil and its forests as we climbed the mountain. One of the best experiences we had while visiting Brazil!

5.00HIKE IN RIO is the right choice! Alessanda is not only the funniest person to be around she also has a bunch of knowledge about the area, about Rio, about brazilian culture and her English is perfect! She was on time and picked us up all the way from the hotel to the hike and all the way back! I recomend it a thousand times!
