5.00This was such a fun experience! I went with a few friends, Jonathan made us all feel really comfortable using woodworking tools for the first time, and being able to bring home the pens we made ourselves is priceless!

5.00It was a great experience. From the beginning we were well taken in hand by Jonathan who knows exactly what he is doing. All in a safe environment, I learned a lot about turning wood. Jonathan knows how to pass on his passion and it was a pleasure to take part. I recommend it to everyone, with or without previous experience.

5.00Jonathan is extremely knowledgeable and a true professional. You can tell that this is not a job to him, it is a passion. He walks you through every step, starting with a history lesson, and guides you through the turning process allowing you to make the pen of your dreams. The soft drinks are a nice bonus! 5.00An excellent pen making class from start to finish. The instruction is clear, patient, and well paced, making the process approachable while still feeling rewarding. The class does a great job of balancing hands-on work with helpful guidance, so you leave with both a finished pen and a solid understanding of the techniques involved. The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into making sure everyone has a positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone interested in learning a new craft or trying something a little different.

5.00I recently attended Jonathan’s pen-making class, and it was a great experience. He is a really good teacher, patient, knowledgeable, and very clear when explaining each step. He makes the class fun and easy to follow, even for beginners. I learned a lot and enjoyed the whole process. Highly recommend his class to anyone interested in trying something creative!

5.00This was a 5/5 experience start to finish. Jonathon was awesome when setting it up, is an awesome instructor, and we left with a lovely pen we made, having never used a lathe before. I took my son (17) and he loved it as well (“6 out of 5”). Can’t recommend it enough.

5.00This was truly a wonderful experience. I always liked wooden pens, it was super amazing to make my own. Jonathan is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable in his craft, as well as an excellent teacher. I had no machine experience. He was very patient, gave me great guidance and was very safety conscious. It was exciting as we approached the final polishing stage, and the pen blank had taken shape. I highly recommend this experience with Jonathan. I love my pen!
