The Independence Palace
Independence Palace was the base of Vietnamese General Ngo Dinh Diem until his death in 1963. It made its name in global history in 1975. A tank belonging to the North Vietnamese Army crashed through its main gate, ending the Vietnam War. Today, it's a must-visit for tourists in Ho Chi Minh City. The palace is like a time capsule frozen in 1975. You can see two of the original tanks used in the capture of the palace parked in the grounds. Independence Palace was the home and workplace of the French Governor of Cochin-China. It has lush gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture, and a command bunker. It's still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh, including APEC summits.

5.00Our tour was excellent! We were picked up at the cruise terminal on time with a careful driver in a modern, clean and comfortable car with water provided. A pleasant drive to Ho Chi Minh city and met our guide exactly on time. He provided a fabulous day with flexibility from the itinerary to meet our needs. He was a pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable young person who shared history, current living and fun details of life here. He went the extra mile to meet our needs. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00Excellence tour guy and driver . Highly recommend. Port to city a little bit far and traffic jam , make sure you have 2-2.5 hours each way.

5.00Our tour guide Jun Tran was by far the best tour guide we had our entire trip. His ability to share his knowledge of Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam was phenomenal. I appreciate how he takes his job as a tour guide seriously as he is a representative of Vietnam to us tourists. The tour was worth every penny. And with an elderly mother the driver was very helpful in getting her in and out of the car safely. The major bummer of the tour was the smog. The air quality was unhealthy and I had to wear an N95 at times. I highly recommend this vendor and ask for Jun.

3.00We enjoyed our visit to Ho Chi Minh City. We expected a tour that included an historical perspective of the city and included a look at current day life in the city. We visited places within the city and the guide basically said you have 20-30 minutes to explore and left us on our own. Not much guidance. He seemed more interested in his phone communications.
Well priced private tour that is a great alternative to cruise line excursions.

5.00The driver collected us from the port gate at Phu My and drove us to Ho Chi Min City where we met up with the guide. Friendly and engaging tour guide who spoke good English, and ensured we were returned to the ship on time. Communication from tour company (via what’s app and email) was timely and accurate.

5.00Minh, our tour guide, was superb. He was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour was tailored to what we wanted to do and see. The driver was excellent too, navigating us safely thru the mad Vietnamese traffic. Would certainly recommend this trip, it was well organised and thought out. Great for a first taste of the city.
