Excellent experience in Prague! Our guide Viktoria took great care of us despite the hot day. Every dish was delicious. Highly recommend.

Fun walking food tour, with a few stops along the way to learn the history of Prague. All different kinds of Czech food, beer, and wine included! Our guide Karolina, was also great and sent us a list of places to try on our trip as well.

In general, our Secret Food Tours of Prague with Karolina was good. Items in the tastings were representative of the area and we tasted some things we probably would not have tried otherwise. On the walk between locations, we stopped at the Church of Our Lady Victorious. It would have been nice if we had been told at the stop that the church is world renowned as the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Nothing was mentioned about the significance of this church. Also, Karolina took a photo of the group at one stop. She obviously only did this to check off a box. As not everyone in the group was told that she was taking the photo, it's not a good photo of most of the people on the tour. Right after she took the photo, I realized what she had done and asked if she would take another photo as I wasn't looking at her. She dismissed my request, saying something to the effect of 'it's ok, you were in it'. We consider this poor customer service. We would have enjoyed having a nice photo of the experience, which was not what we received.

This was a fantastic tour with 11 other folks and our outstanding guide, Karolina. We visited a variety of restaurants and sampled incredible food. Twelve adventerous people came together to enjoy the flavors in Prague. A savory Garlic with Marjorum soup or a rich beef broth was first!! The second course of pickled knockwurst, (pickled with a mild Kim-chi) and Camembert cheese marinated in olive oil were also flavorful! Next came dishes I recall from my childhood: Tender Pork roast with caraway-seasoned saurkraut and dense, doughy dumplings, often referred to as the national dish of the Czech Republic. Also tasty was a beef roast with bread-like dumplings!! The final piece to our meal was a pleasing slice of cherry bread! Not too sweet or tart. Just right!! Our final stop was to enjoy fresh, spicy gingerbread!!!! All of the dishes both seriously pleased us as did our guides anecdotes about the food and the Czech Republic!! Well done, Karolina!!!

Sonny shared Czech culture with our small group as he guided us through the courses. We got a glimpse into the importance of soup culture, tavern culture, and dishes Czechs eat in their homes. The food was all delicious and comforting.
