Gaxibo is the best guide in all of Berat. If you want the most authentic tour experience, you most come to his office and ask for him. The loveliest, most intelligent man.

We arrived in Berat on a rainy Sunday. We contacted Saimir and he was able to meet on short notice and give us an excellent tour, under difficult weather conditions. He's very knowledgeable, delivered with positive energy. I consider ourselves lucky to have had Saimir as our guide.

Interesting tour, the guide was funny and knowledgeable and approachable. The tpur was about the history of Albania and of Berat with paralels of the Europe history.

Saimir was excellent, well informed and happy to answer questions. The tour lasted three hours not two. Be prepared for steep climb!

We had a fantastic tour through Berat yesterday with our guide Samir! He not only showed us the most beautiful historical sites but also impressed us with fascinating stories and interesting background information. The views were simply magical – we just couldn’t get enough! Samir was incredibly friendly, attentive, and answered every question with great knowledge. A perfect mix of culture, history, and unforgettable moments. Absolutely recommendable! 🤗

An extremely interesting introduction before exploring the city of Berat on your own. Saimir gave us a lot of information about the different monuments of Berat, the construction of the city and the overall history of Albania. Really very interesting

Saimir was a knowledeable guide, very professional with a sense of humour. We learnt a lot about the history of Albania and we're very impressed with the resilience of its people through history and how they're finding their way in their new reality. The old town is gorgeous and this is the first castle I've ever visited where people still live within the walls. We were also happy to support locals selling fruit and other goods along the way.
