Lake Powell

View the famous Horseshoe Bend, take a short hike at "The Chains" , then Walk the Dam with its dizzying drop into the gorge. View the sunset and enjoy another fine dinner and stay at a Luxury Hotel.

Monument Valley

What can we say ? Monument Valley has been in more Western Movies than you can shake a six gun at ! Then on to the "Off the Beaten Track" : Valley of the Gods ! Here at sunset it is often better, with far less people and the ability to make phone camera videos ( video illegal in Mon. Vly , stills ok ) and have a more exclusive setting.

Traverse the towers ! Then off for dinner and the excellent Bluff dwellings.

Canyonlands National Park

Mysterious Vista hikes and Marvelous Arches: this is Angel Arch Heaven, if your fellow hikers are stout, if in a more casual mode, the Picture Frame and Balcony Arch stand tall.

Goblin Valley State Park

Seen in the movie " Galaxy Quest" these are fantastical formations ! Spend this Spacetime day, finding hide outs and retreats for some private interludes, on the Sacred Circle.

Capitol Reef National Park

This is the "Hike" of the trip, if your feeling good, lets go ! 2 miles , 1000ft elevation, steep, with the rewards to match. These massive formations and arches will get you to the deep peaceful quiet, that makes for special moments to remember with stunning photographs that will get oohs and aahs back home !

You've seen the pictures, yet there is nothing like Being There ! Its so high, and you can see so far ........ high elevation so its usually quite crisp and cool. Scenic drive.

Zion National Park

The tunnels on the way in are amazing ! Little windows to sneak a peak, as you enter one of the worlds wonders. The last sprint to the finish line, the Virgin River holds treasures of flora and fauna on the float ! Up the river in the ravine ! There is an excellent visitor center to relax at instead and often deer, ducks and birds like cranes sometimes to observe. And as the sun sets in the western sky we say goodbye, back in the big city lights of Las Vegas.
