5.00Our experience visiting Atitlan Lake and Panajachel was the best, we were guided by Helmuth in his car and we learn a lot about Guatemala, we enjoy the food, the placed we visited and the friendliness, not just from him but from everyone we met during the day. There is something special about the people in Guatemala, they are not only friendly, but helpful, and always looking to find ways for you to feel at home. The tour was great, but not only because the places are amazing, but because Helmuth help us understand the history and the culture of every place we went. We leave a friend in Guatemala.
For me it was the best experience I have ever had, it is worth visiting the streets, restaurants, crafts, the food is effective.

5.00This was my first trip to Guatemala. Caminos Del Quetzal was recommended by a family member and we were not disappointed! All of out travel arrangements we done by Helmuth Antonio Leal. He was very flexible with all of our requests and once he submitted his proposal and price quote, Helmuth was still amenable to some minor changes. We traveled to Antigua, Lago Atitlan, Chichicastenango, Quetzaltenango, Semuc Champey, Tikal, Guatemala City. It was a 12 day tour. All ground travel, accommodations, restaurant suggestions were great. Helmuth was very knowledgeable, calm and accommodating to our requests. He made the trip fun and exciting, and handled all hotel transfers, check-ins and luggage seamlessly. You never felt as if you were stranded or not able to work through situations. Helmuth was always at our side and ready to help at every opportunity. This was a trip of a lifetime and one that was made memorable because of our guide, Helmuth!
